Love This Place
By Tommy, 2/6/12
Love this place. The beauty and warmth of the inn starts right when you cross the threshold. The beds are comfy, rooms are clean, and the staff are wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay at the Tidewater Inn
By Sharlene, 1/4/12
We had a quick two night stay that was lovely. The beds were really comfortable, and the hotel was charming. Other than that, this a pleasant place to stay.

Amazing place to enjoy
By Julie, 12/15/11
The Tidewater Inn was truly amazing place to enjoy and relax. Everything went well. The ambiance of the Inn and the quaint town with fine boutique's, pubs/restaurant's and high end stores all within walking distance made the weekend a true memory.

Great stay!
By Mel, 12/2/11
I stayed here with my husband when we came out for a wedding. Walter at the front desk was really nice and accommodating. A bunch of us who were attending the wedding were staying here so I’m sure he was tired of all of the “issues” some of the group had. He never let on though and kept a very professional and friendly demeanor.

the best!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/15/11
We have stayed in many high end hotel rooms, but Tidewater Inn was by far the best experience we have ever had! From the amazing suite to the great time around town. Everything was top notch. We will be back!

No air conditioning for several days, no assistance relocating
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/27/07
10/22/07 A friend and I booked 2 rooms at the Tidewater Inn for 3 days. When we arrived on Monday 10/22, it had been in the mid 80 degree range outdoors for several days. The hotel's compressor had broken several days prior to our arrival. Although the lobby and restaurant had a/c, none of the sleeping rooms did, dur to the compresor. We were offered/issued fans when we checked in (never a good sign). Unfortunately (and maybe this is also a fire safety hazard), the windows are painted shut and even the bellman could not open the window in several rooms to get fresh air and utilize the fan. The hotel did not know when the repairs would be made because they were extensive. They should have closed the hotel or made arrangements at the nearby Hampton Inn for guests, given the continuing hot temperatures and lack of a/c. I was appalled.

Fantastic experience!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 5/31/07
I have been coming to the Tidewater in since the 60s when I could get a two double bed room for $17.00 a night. (and I had to save up for the trip!) I love the rooms, the staff are very courteous and helpful, the food is great, the little town of Easton is exraordinary. Right down the road you can have a great meal at the Crab Cove or the Morris Inn in St Michael's. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for value is that it no longer costs $17.00 a night, but it's still well worth saving up for!!!! S, Gaumond Staunton, VA
