Annapolis Loew's Hotel - Great Bartender
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/17/09
The hotel did not have a pool. Meals in the Breeze Restaurant were slow, over priced and not cooked to order. The restaurant had little to no atmosphere. Beds were comfortable and front desk folks were nice. The bar theme was the old tired sports bar theme, tables and chairs seem to have seen better days. They need to upgrade the bar and be a little more sophisticated to match the rest of the hotel. The hotel charged extra for everything from parking, internet, and breakfast. I had to go to the bar to get help to connect to the internet. The daytime Bartender Jeff seemed to be in a daze, was a little slow, not very friendly and was useless in our quest to connect to the internet. The Evening bartender Martin was the complete opposite and extremely friendly. He bent over backwards and helped us pick out a restaurant out on the town that fit our needs. He gave us a map circling points of interest and was an expert in his knowledge about the town. He even suggested we take the water taxi over to our restaurant for a memorable evening. He was absolutely correct. The next day we were back and he gave us new suggestions for activities in the town. Martin made our vacation wonderful. I would suggestion you ask for him to help you with your travel needs. The hotel was in walking distance to downtown. Shuttle was not running so we were put into a taxi. Beware the Taxi company they recommend pays a commission to the individual front desk attendant that calls the cab. You would do better to call a company yourself, we felt a little cheated when we learned this fact from the Westin Hotel front desk clerk.

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/16/08
We were delighted at the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the facility, location and just overall experience of staying at Loews Hotel in Annapolis for our anniversary. We will definitely be returning to revisit the Annapolis area and look forward to staying at Loews!

"Warning-dress disappears in room!"
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/2/08
Be careful at this hotel. While attending a wedding in Annapolis, we stayed in a 4th floor suite on the 4th floor and a dress in a dress bag was accidentally left in the closet. We called several hours after checking out to try to reclaim it but were told that "there was nothing in the closet" and the room had been cleaned with no new guest yet. Nothing in lost and found. Hmmmmm... suspect? This hotel could have cared less and did nothing about the loss. Also, the bride and groom left gift (welcome) bags for guests staying at the hotel to have on check-in. The hotel had a list of guests to receive it, but none did unless they specifically asked for one!!!! The suite was misrepresented in the reservation process, as well. Would never stay there again, and for that matter would not frequent any hotel in the Loews chain. Patricia

This is the best place to see in Annapolis
By Rod Navarre, 3/29/08
Our family stayed at Loews for the '07 Naval Academy graduation. The service was awesome. The employees are excellent. Lowes is my favorite place to stay.

Do not pay for convienience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/19/07
The valet, room service, and housekeeping staff were very friendly and the service was excellent!! My husband and I chose the hotel because it was a short walk to the Navy football stadium. On the Friday we arrived, a singles event was held in the large convention area and loud music played until 11pm. There was nothing the staff or we could do about it. With the price you have to pay for the rooms, breakfast isn't included. Also we recommend going out to eat for all of your meals. Some meals are overcooked. The only staff that asked us how our stay was, was the valet staff.

Would love to stay here again when I have more time to enjoy the city
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/31/07
I thought this hotel was excellent, I was recently in a friends wedding in Annapolis and stayed for the whole weekend, the staff was curtious and attentive, the shuttle service is wonderful, we enjoyed the restaurant/bar, the rooms were beautiful. I was a little dissapointed that there was no pool and that breakfast was not included in the cost of a nights' stay but, other than that I was thoroughly impressed with The Loews Annapolis Hotel!

Looking for a reason to come back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/2/06
Convenient, walking distance to all of Annapolis... Resturants and boutiques. Stayed there to see a concert at the Birchmere. Was delightful. I had to change my room reservation upoin checkin from a non-smoking to a smoking. Not only did Lowes accomodate quickly; but was still able to have breakfast at Concierge Level using my Lowes Blue Membership

very tasteful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 3/20/05
The room was spacious and comfortable, especially nice bath area. The downside was no pool and the eating was delicious but, like all of Annapolis, fairly pricey. The staff was very attentive but you had to pay to park and no free breakfast. The best part was we could walk to all things in town and on the weekdays they have a friendly set of shuttle drivers.
