An affordable rate!
By Patricia, 9/16/11
After driving all the way from Rhode Island, my husband and I decided to call it a night and stay at the Days Inn. It was pretty late and there weren't many other hotels around. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and gave us good suggestions about things to do in the area for the next day. I even got an hour extension on our check out time for free. Although I was a little hesitant due to the low price (it came out to around 55 dollars), the room was clean, up to standards and a million times better than what I had expected. Will definitely be back!

Would not recommend staying here
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/21/10
The young lady at the front desk was very pleasant, but that was the highlight of my stay. I was on my way from Cape May south and found this place when the Holiday Inn Express said they would not take pets. This is probably a 50+ year old, old Holiday Inn, and shows it. The room I was in still had the original bathroom floor tile, and grout and it was disgustingly dirty. The toilet seat had some weird surface and I really, really had to go, or I would not have used it. The heater could not keep up with a 20 degree night, and the room was very cold. Turning up the heat to high and pegging the thermostat made little difference. The sheets were clean, but were wrinkled and looked like they had been left in a lump in the laundry. The water must be from a well with heavy iron concentration. I checked in about 9 p.m., grabbed a pizza, put on sweatpants and shirt and spent the night. If I could have found another place around there that didn't mind my dog, I would have left. This place needs hundreds of thousands of dollars in renovations before I would recommend staying here.

Great hotel for suicide
Ever thought of taking your life? Do not stay in this hotel if you intend to keep it this way. Rude service, filthy sheets, resin pillows, jumpy back-ache matresses, rusty taps and smelly water. You cas see rust paths in the bathroom, which doesn't work. Feels like the doom day has made this hotel a headquarter. I had to stay there overnight only because the Holiday Inn Express was booked. Barely made it thru the night - and I'm a guy who saw quite a lot in my life. Didn't have a moment of sleep at all! Bottom line: if you ever see no purpose in life - go there and take a room. One of two things will happen then. One - you can change you mind saying that the worst has not happened yet in your life - and live on. The other - it may make your suicide dream come true - nothing there will turn you off the path you chosed. STAY AWAY from this cursed place. The aura there is deadly.

Not helpful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 9/7/07
We arrived around 9:30 p.m. and asked for a room. The bottom line price they could give me was $63.00 plus tax even with AAA. There were very few cars in parking lot. I needed to stay somewhere close by. I chose Days Inn because of the one of the latest review that new management had taken over, rooms remodeled, etc. . What a joke? Room 108 was not remodeled. Mattress and boxspring needed to be replaced. It was okay EXCEPT for the bathroom. The floor needed to be replaced, shower curtain and tub. When I checked out, I politely told them and all he said was, we'll take note of it. I will not stay there again nor recommend it to anyone else.

This motel is amazing. It has a great staff. An awesome pool. Their breakfast possibilities are also endless. The rooms had a sufficient supply of towels and the bedsheets were clean. The housekeepers also did an amazing job and were very friendly.

Love it!!!!!!!!!!
By princess2213, 8/8/06
I have been to many motels around the country but never saw one like this. You should not get deceived by the reviews from last year because this motel is under renovations and is owned by very pleasant people who actually know what the term customer service means. They also have somebody on the clock 24/7 to provide you with extra towels, cots, pillows, and anything else you may need!!!

Great Hotel, Great Location in Ocean City, Maryland
By Johnny B, 6/3/06
I had to have the location changed from Pocomoke City, Maryland because the conference was moved to Ocean City, Maryland. The staff at yahoo travel were very friendly and helpful to accomidate these changes at such a late date. The hotel (Comfort Inn Gold Coast, 11201 COASTAL HWY., Ocean City, MD) was excellent and the location was even better. Everything was in walking distance. "Thank You Very Much"

Change of management
By guest, 12/2/05
This message is for everyone who stayed here and is planning on staying here in the future. The management has changed! The new managemen took over on Nov.1st and have already improved the place 300% than it was a month ago. To our past guests, we apologize and would like to tell you that there was NO management here for 2 months before we took over!!!! I would like to invite everyone back to see all the changes that we are making and then make your decision and/or opinion esp. by summer all bathrooms will be replaced, carpets will be changed, and we are working to find ways to improve the water quality. Again i will urge you all to come and see the rooms and then decide if you would like to stay with us or not now.

will make your skin crawl
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/16/05
This hotel is beyond disgusting. The shower was filthy, mold/mildew with a touch or crumbling plaster for ambiance. The day staff was obnoxious, the water smelled like sewage. We turned down the sheets and there was a circular area that looked like a cat had been cleaning himself and left a pile of hair on the sheets. We did not stay, we got a refund, the night shift was pleasant. We stayed at the holiday inn express up the road. I wouldn't let my dog sleep in this pathetic excuse of a hotel. Days Inn should pull their franchise for this dump.

NEVER STAY HERE
By trish, 8/23/05
We were treated with rudeness from the moment we checked into this hotel. The rooms are disgustingly dirty. We found dirty towels and dead bugs in our room. It was late at night and we had children in our party. Plus after they charged my credit card we found out how awful a stay this really was. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. We even found a syringe in the grass area. Don't stay here, esepcially with chidlren. The staff closed up the pool and took our child's beach towel. They had no idea what happened to it when we asked. They also tried to charge us for a extra night.
