Comfort Inn Towson, Towson

It's not worth the $$. Everything smelled like smoke when you arrived - and when you left - everything you own will smell like smoke. What the staff thought was acceptable was unacceptable to us. Like the phone message blinking all night long when you have no messages - "it does this all the time- nothing we can do" is the staff answer. Tired to speak with the Manager - not in -- called Manager - voice mail full. Would not stay here ever again. Usually Comfort Inn are very clean and accomadating - but they are all run so differently. None of the empoyees here take pride in their work or this hotel.

The water wasn't hot for showering. The stairs were dark and dirty. The tv didn't work. The room smelled bad. The bathroom sink was filled with water and couldn't drain it. The carpets were in stains. The front desk was rude. I wouldn't stay here again.

My non smoking room smelled like smoke, and that was just the beginning. I left my ipod charging on my computer and when I returned after a day out it was gone. There was no manager on staff, and when I finally got to talk to a manager they said they couldn't do anything without a police report. I asked the desk clerk for the number to the police and she replied very snotty "911". I informed her that I wouldn't call 911 for a stolen IPOD and she said too bad. The other clerk came over and pulled a sheet of paper that was right there with the number on it. I called and made sure we did the report right in the lobby. When I returned to my room for the last night of my stay there was a fight in the hall way with lots of yelling. The neighbors were loud and the staff wouldn't do anything about it. I got my money back, but not my ipod. I was ranting to a lady in the elevator and she had her jewelry stolen at the same time. Little did I know that she was right across the hall from me. Apparently one of the staff members was knocking on doors and if people answered he would offer extra towels. If not he would enter and steal stuff. NEVER STAY HERE!

I have stayed at this hotel twice. I was very dissatisfied the first time. So why did I return ?? All others were filled and it was cheap enough. Boy was I sorry. I could not get to sleep because the next door customer fell asleep and left his TV on. I dont see anything wrong with that since I have done it many times myself. The problem is that the walls are so thin that you could here the TV in the hallway as well and it was not even loud. I could not get to sleep and decided to leave since I did not expect other rooms to have thicker walls. I was registered at the hotel from 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM. I asked for a refund and was told absolutely "NO" since I had "used" the room. I was treated very rudely with no compassion or even an apology. Stay away from this hotel. I will never return.

Lets see. The room did have that musty smell as well as the ceiling and its peeling paint. The shower head is so low that I must have hit my head on it a dozen times. There were hairs on the sheets which totally grossed me out. The continental breakfest is a whole nother story. I believe that there are people who actually live at the hotel. They hang out in the eating area. Also, I think the walls are paper thin as I could here people above and along side of me. Never again for me.

The entire hotel smelled very musty. The room had not had a good vacuumning in quite a while, the rug had dust and dirt build up all around the edge of the room. The toilet had stains, making me wonder when the last time it had truly been cleaned. The shower dripped water, which wasn't a problem, but the mildew that was built up in the faucet continued to drip into the tub. When I was trying to check out the desk clerk continued her personal telephone conversation about picking up party goods. She quickly handed me my reciept without so much as one word to me. The rate savings was not worth it.

When I went into the room it had a musty smell and the ceiling was peeling. There was no closet and I thought that was weird. But the worst part of my stay was on Tuesday night when I felt something on my foot while sitting on the bed and then the next morning actually seeing what that was when the mouse ran from beside the bed across the room and under the adjoining room’s door. When I told the staff the next day they didn't do anything about it.

I liked the availability of the Comfort Inn. It was right off the beltway and very accessable. The attendents were very polite. I was able to walk in without reservations and rent a very attractable room. The room was perfect for my daughter and I. It was clean and well prepared! My stay was only one night but it was very enjoyable and I would be willing to stay at this hotel once more as well as recomend it to any of my family or friends.

Although the housekeeping at this locate was poor. I enjoy the stay at the hotel, because it was great place to get away from all the problems I was having at the time.

Filthiest hotel I have ever been in. Lobby and halls looked like they haven't been serviced in weeks. Room requested wasn't available and staff was not quick to comply. Poor choice on my part....
