Ramada Limited Cockeysville, Cockeysville

We made a reservation through Kayak with this Ramada. The reservation stated on it, 4 adults, 2 beds, and the total price. We arrived at the hotel before the room was ready, at noon. We checked in and everything seemed fine. When we came back around midnight to get our room key, the front desk worker told us we owed another $25 because we had 4 people. Our reservation clearly stated the reservation was for 4 people as well saying "This amount includes room rate, tax recovery charges and extra person charges, if any." He refused to give us keys to the room unless we paid the extra amount. We left at midnight and drove to find another hotel. Completely unacceptable business practice and customer service. Please don't promote such practices by giving such places your money. (And to make this clear, I have never left a negative review of a place before!!)

I was a little nervous about booking this hotel with only two stars but I found it to be very nice and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful,if you are only staying for a short time why pay big bucks,it's also very close to plenty resturants and retail stores.I would stay there again.

I WAS THERE FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK. JULY 28, 2008 TO AUGUST 3, 2008 . I TOLD THE FRONT DESK THAT I HAD BITES FOR THREE DAYS STRAIGHT. AND NOW I KNOW THAT THEY ARE BED BUGS.

Not a bad location - neighborhood is quiet and lots of places to eat just yards from the hotel. The staff was very nice and the room was quiet...now for clean...forget it. My wife went to unwrap a fresh washcloth to wash her face, and there was a pubic hair in it...no I am not making this up. There was a musty smell and the room just had a nasty feel to it, like it had been rented by the hour one too many times. The linens were well worn, but did seem clean. The bedspreads were definitely of the type you want to remove before sleeping. I did not find any bed bugs though. There is also some kind of glob of some kind of food stuck to the ceiling...Oh the tub did not drain well, so as you shower, you find yourself in 8" of "hotel tub water". Cheap but you get what you pay for. Free internet.

Hotel has bed bugs!!! I have three employees staying at the hotel and I wanted to warn folks that as of May 27, 2008 at least 2 of the 3 rooms have bed bugs; one staff member found a bed bug on himself in the middle of the night and another has several bites on her arm. Check around the edges of your mattress and headboard and along the baseboards for signs of bed bugs as soon as you check in to a room at this hotel.
