We had a great time

I recently stayed at the Fisherman's Wharf Inn for a wedding. This was a great place to have a wedding, since the Inn is right on the water, surrounded by docks, boats, and shops... plenty of great Maine lobster!
I will agree with other reviewers and say that the rooms a bit outdated. I opted for
a slightly more expensive room with a king size bed, which had a slightly better view of the bay. It appears they may be in the process of updating rooms. Our room was very small and outdated, but clean. The bath room was very tiny. A few others attending the wedding had cheaper rooms with a slightly less view that were updated and seemed much bigger - 2 queen beds but larger overall room and much larger bath room. Because of the wedding, I saw several rooms and found it funny how every room seemed to have a different size TV. Didn't matter.. we didn't watch TV anyway. All rooms seemed to have a balcony and at least some sort of view of the bay.
Parking at the Inn is valet. It didn't seem to crowded when we were there, so we had no issues with this.
The service at the Inn was excellent. Everyone was
very friendly.
The Inn has a resturant, bar, and a gift shop. You will find the items in the gift shop at other shops just outside the Inn for cheaper.
We found that most of the shops at Booth Bay close at 9:00PM. Most of the resturants were also pretty empty during our stay(June 23rd to 25th). There is a good pizza joint and bar/eatery next to the Inn which was open late. We found prices in the shops were reasonable (I am from MA). Booth bay has a
fantastic ice cream shop and the best taffy. Also lots of lobster/seafood.
Other things you can do: fishing, whale watch, bay cruise, and nearby golf.
In closing, I would say that the Fisherman's Wharf
is probably one of the best places to stay on Booth Bay.
