Super 8 Natchitoches, Natchitoches

Regardless of the age of the building, it is kept up very well. The front desk manager is very friendly and accomodating along with her staff beginning from the front desk to housekeeping. We were greeted everytime with a warm smile and willingness to help. The only person who didn't seem to friendly was the grouch who work night shift...other then that we have a very pleasant stay and will continue to return.

Toilet was broken,had no water in it and would not flush.front desk said i would have to fix it myself or wait until tommorow.Hair on the floor tub nasty,everthing rusted,ac not working etc....needless to say i checked out and stayed at the holiday inn which was wonderful

This hotel advertised LUXURIOUS ROOMS. However, we booked the King Suite which was anything but Luxurious! The hotel is very very old. The room was very unprofessionally painted, patched up holes behind the door, the electrical outlets were off the walls and the light switches were on, but did not fully cover the holes on the walls, the air conditioner did not cool, everything was musty and rusted including the mirrors. The bathroom was extremely small and had holes in it as well. We could not even take showers as their was NO hot water!!! No trashcans in the bathroom, the microwave did not work properly, the sheets had cigarette burns and holes in them and smelled musty! We slept with our clothes on becasue it seemed so nasty!! My kids are 15 & 7 and THEY did not want to stay there. There were no other hotels with vacancies so we had no choice but to STAY! When we approached management about our complaints, all they considered doing was putting plates over the electrical outlets! Their advertisement is false! I have never ever stayed in a hotel as run down as this! They did seem busy, but Natchitoches is a busy tourist attractice with very few hotels in the town!! Thank GOD it was only for one night! We woke up at 6:00 and got out of DODGE!!!! Never again will I stay at Super 8 anywhere!!

First off, I have to say that the management was very friendly. We traveled over 645 miles, and were assured that we would have a room on the ground level, queen size beds, and very clean rooms. However, when we got to the room, there were only full size beds (which we later learned that this is all that this motel offers), we were put on the second floor (lots of steps), and the room was less than clean. It had an unpleasant smell that could have been some kind of air freshener. The bathroom was not very clean, the microwave had crumbs underneath and beside it, and the in-room refrigerator was dirty. We noticed that when the cleaning staff was cleaning the rooms, all of the rooms were wide open for some reason. Not very safe if someone had anything of value in their room. Also the continental breakfast was much less than expected. Only a small variety of donuts (which did not look very appetizing), milk, cereal, and juice. I have seen much more (and better quality) at other Super 8 motels. If we had been at this location for more than just the two nights we were there, we would have changed motels. Not a very good experience.

We enjoyed our stay. Front desk is very helpful & happy. Our room was very clean and when we needed extra pillows & an extra blanket, the manager himself brought it to our room and assured us that if we needed anything else any member of the staff is and willing to help. The breakfast was great, they had a very large variety of items available to choose from. We def. recommend this hotel to other travelers and will def. be back to visit.

This is by far one of the most cleanest and friendliest hotel there is. Front desk staff were very warm and welcoming and turns out they have an on site manager on duty 24 hours a day, what a good idea. Hotels should do that more often. Upon entering our hotel room, we received a call from the front desk about 30 minutes later to be sure that everything was up to our standards in the room, and we felt that was great because it showed that they truly cared. Housekeeping is great. I left the girl a $20 tip, the entire crew was very cheerful and ready to help in any which way possible. Thank you super 8 in Natchitoches

Recently stayed here with my family. I have stayed before in 2006 and this time I definitely noticed a difference. first off the lobby is very clean and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable, along with the bathroom. the only thing i can say is the carpet needs to be changed, but from what i can see, change is on the way.The front desk staff & management are very polite and helpful Keep it up. I would def. suggest this hotel to friends & family.

not on the main drag, hence a better price. good room, friendly staff, will be there again. This review is suppose to be 25 words or more so I'm writing this now, have a great day!
