Clarion Hotel Shreveport, Shreveport

I loved the comfort of this hotel. The staff was the best! Our school reunion was a success because of their competent staff.... Thank you for great service. The facility (ball room) was perfect for our event...... Yes I would recommend it to others. It was convenient to other activities such as shopping (Boardwalk) and the casinos....

The just refused to sell me their last available room because I have 3 kids instead of 2 kids. No lie. I would have paid the same money that anyone else would have....but I would have had to request a policy waiver tomorrow morning to bring all three of my daughters with me. Maybe I should leave one outside thier front door with a can to shake.....Don't tell them you have kids when you call!!!!....or go somewhere else that welcomes your kids.

The hotel was conveniently located and close by to all of the activities we planned for the weekend. Although most might prefer a hotel right in the middle of town, we found it to be in a perfect location. The room was clean, the staff was courteous and all of our needs were met. The only negative that we could find was that the hallways were very hot as though there was no A/C on. It didn't affect the room comfort in any way and we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this hotel.

the wallpaper was wrinkled. no internet connection. the halls stink. there was stains on the bedding. the a/c wasn't blowing cold air. i wouldn't stay here again.

The king room was a good size room very clean and the bed is very nice and comfortable. The staff was nice and vey helpful. The breakfast was nice as well.

They are slowing making updates. This is the third time I have stayed there and any problem that I have had, has been satisfied. They have satelite now, just wish they had a guide for it.

Great location, away from the airport noise, close to shopping. Friendly staff, excellent room, very clean.

We evacuated there because of Hurricane Gustuv but wasn't pleased with the hotel. The AC units in the rooms back up into the rooms causing the carpets to stay wet. The cleaning lady said they wet vac the rooms once the guests leaves and will change the carpet around the units often. The toilet almost runs over before flushing and the tub and sink is slow to drain. The lobby is nice but the rest of the hotel is dull and istinks.This is not a place to stay only if your desperate. With all of the AC units backing up into the rooms I'd say this place if full of mold. The place is creepy at night as they do have peolpe hanging out by the entrance doors smoking and drinking. I don't plan on returning to the Clarion.

When we first walked in we thought it was a dump. The walls, floors, elevators, everything needs to be updated...and it SMELLS! The place is full of smokers, drinkers, and prostitutes. DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE! Nothing about the place feels safe. We were placed on the sixth floor which was being renovated, and a key was required to get on our floor from the elevator. The stairs required a key which we were not even given. CREEPY PLACE! We stayed five minutes then canceled!

I was placed in a smoking room as a non-smoker and asked to be moved to a non-smoking room and was told they would move me as soon as possible I stayed for 4 day was never moved, the food was served cold, the room was nice but smelled like cigar smoke, the bathtub drained so slow by the time the shower was over you were standing in 6 inches of water...
