High Priced 1 Star Hotel, but Great location
Great location and that is all that you can say positive about it.
First thing that I did was tell them to turn off the moniter system with the HVAC system. As it is a motion activated thermostat. Which means that once you leave the room and there isn't any motion, the thermostat goes back to what ever it is that they program it to. If it is hot outside and you walk around you will come back into a hot room..if you don't have it fixed when you check in.
Everyone wants a tip. Parking your car, bringing your luggage up.....And there aren't any luggage racks for you to use on your own. They all have a man attached to them that wants to take it for you.
Rooms...oh me...on the small side, no refridgerator, the one that they have is full of over priced drinks, that require a key. So get the key, take their stuff out and put yours in. Water by the TV in your room is $6.50 a bottle.
The linen is only changed if you place a card on your bed.
Towels are only replaced if they are in the floor. (if they are handing on the shower rack, they assume that you are going to use them again.) They have a card about saving water.
The toilet paper ,,,,oh me...you would think that a HIGH PRICED HOTEL would use something besides cardboard. But they don't. It was the pits.
So I would advise you to take your own....
You have to pay $9.95 a day for use of the internet. On top of the high priced room fee.
If you take your own toilet paper, only take one bag or 2 at the most so that you can take them yourself. You will get away with a lot cheaper priced stay..
You will only have to pay the guys that park your vehicle and pick it up for you.
The parking garage is 38.00 a day. plus tips.
Oh and the rooms with the balcony are 100.00 higher than the other ones.
Beware of the street rooms as they are so noisy.
Set the AC and Heat when you check in.
Get the key for the refridgerator and take their stuff out of it and put your water and soft drinks in it.
And you should be about ready.
Then if you ask me if I would go back there then the answer is NO. I would rather stay at Sherton or somewhere else. That is not cramped.
