Fabulous Fishing

Spent 4 nights here over Christmas while visiting family. Brought my boat down and had two great days catching trout and reds right in the marina...very new(I may have been the first occupant) room, very clean, flat screen and wi-fi, post-Katrina renovations very tasteful. Great restaurant..couldn't get past the shrimp poboy. Coming back in May for the trout run.

found this place driving by, came back to trout fish...boat launch, live bait and convenience store, cafe all right...I like it for the cultural experience

recently stayed at this hotel. service was good,prices fair,staff wonderful.hotel is old, but very clean. very convenient to the city, has cafe and game room. will stay again, when in town.

hurricane survivor

we stayed here with family and friend while we were working on our home which was destroyed by the hurricane. if this hotel was not open, we would have had to travel a long distance to our home each. thank you for reopening, thanks to the staff, that understood our problems, and thanks to management for not price gouging.
