Good value
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/5/12
Newly reopened under new management. Nicely redone and updated. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and convenient location. Good free breakfast: eggs, sausage, biscuits&gravy, breads, bagels, cereal, juice, and coffee.

Worst hotel I've ever slept at!
By CynthiaH., 12/19/08
Wow -- where do I start?! there were dead bugs in the (busted) window sills. Everything was old and I was actually scared to take a shower and get under the covers. I'm not even very picky but this place was definitely the worst hotel I've ever slept at, and it wasn't the cheapest! Pay a little extra and get a better place, save yourself a doctor's visit cause if you stay here there's a good chance you could catch a disease!

Don't even stop by
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/4/08
I liked nothing. We went there because in the travel coupon book, it said million dollar rentavation, olympic size pool, starbucks in the room. Whatever. Thats just to get you there. It was smelly old dirty. Stains on the walls. I just felt dirty when I went in. They gave us back our money though. There were people there staying and swimming. I guess they didnt mind.

Filthy!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/18/07
The first room we were given was filthy. There was dry cereal on the floor by the beds, a red sticky substance (spilled soda or jelly)on the nightstand, dirty blankets on the beds and the bathroom had not been cleaned! When I went to complain to the front desk about the condition of the room I interrupted the night clerk smoking a cigarrette and having a drink with her boyfriend out front. She gave me another room and told me that she had received a lot of complaints that night about housekeeping issues. The second room was cleaner, but not by much! The floor hadn't been vacuumed and the sink, shower and bathroom hadn't been cleaned. Since all the other hotels in the town were booked for the night with a racing convention in town and I was traveling with 3 children I had no choice but to stay there. The night clerk said she would make sure we didn't have to pay full price because of the problems, but they still charged us the full $80/night rate.
