Travelers Lodge, Salina

I went here very recently, june 2010, and it was great. Nice family that works/manages the motel. Very kind people. they have a pool, which most motel did not unless you wanted to pay $100+ dollars for a night at a franchise motel. very clean room, nice air conditionor, pool, hbo, wireless interest that was fast might i add. Great place well worth it!

I came in for a convention and didnt have any reservation. It was an older hotel. Single floor so I could park in front my door. No smoking room was clean and quiet. Management was polite. Rates were what I figured were normal. I could have found a hotel for a few dollars less but those looked a little scarey. Towels could have been bigger. The king bed..well little creaky but but had crisp clean sheets. I was comfortable. TV had HBO and WiFi. I had left a nice shirt in the room and didnt realize it til I got home. The front desk was kind enough to say they would put it in the mail C.O.D. I will appreciate them doing that. Its one reason Ive made an effort to write this review in my appreciation for his effort. I would consider staying there again next year.
