I stayed here last year and they charged me for the room before they were supposed to!!!! This year was worse I book two nights here online (NO CANCEL ROOMS) and then called them to book an extra night a week later! We arrived on thursday and were schedualed to stay till sunday! I had confonmation with me and they told me i didnt have a room for saturday nite and there was nothing they could do!?!?!

We chose to stay at the Howard Johnson location due to its proximity to Community Field and its price. Once we checked in we realized that was a big mistake. It didn't seem as if they even bothered to clean the place. There was large clumps of hair all over the bathroom, random muck on everything and large spiders pretty much behind all of the funiture. I understand you get what you pay for, this place is relatively cheap, but this was beyound gross. Pay the extra cash if you got it and stay somewhere else, you'll be happier.

We came to Burlington for our granddaughter's high school graduation Our rooms were on the outside (the part that hasn't been redone yet). They were clean and comfortable. We were surprised when we went in for breakfast the next morning. The interior around the pool was beautiful! We had three rooms reserved and had no complaints concerning them. It will be interesting to return when the renovation is completed.

I I went to visit a friend that was having a birthday party, they had gotten a room ther because of a band playing there. They got the tickets to (adults) and had a great time at the concert. Everything was great till check out. They tried to charge my friend $2.00 for every person they saw on the balcony including people from the band!!! (Only 4 people actually stayed the night. They also threatened a guest about a 100.00 deposit, they saw him smoking in the hall from the concert to his room. they he wasn't going to get it back. He said yes he was they told him they would call the cops then, because he was camera. No smoking rules

We stayed here as a group for our childrens' baseball tournament. The pool was freezing, so the kids couldn't swim (they said the heater had been fixed, it would be warm in a few hours, but never was. Some friends stayed the previous night and were told the same thing). The rooms were so hot no one could sleep (they can only have the heat or air turned on, not both at the same time, which we weren't told). We had to go get someone to fix the washing machine so we could wash our ball uniforms. The hallway smelled awful, we were told it was because the carpet had gotten wet. And, there is no elevator, so we had to carry our stroller and swing (necessities for a 6 week old) up the stairs. Not a pleasant stay, definitely not worth $96!!

I Love this place. As I parked my car, i thought to myself, this place might be an ok place to stay. My mind was set to expect the normal hotel standard. But I was in awe when i entered the lobby, and thought, I might end up paying more for this stay just for the decor part of it. I paid lower than other hotels around, to my surprise. And then our family entered their atrium pool area, and our jaws dropped at the sheer beauty of the place. We loved our entire stay, our kids loved the pool. The rooms are beautifully decorated, their mattresses guarantees a good night sleep, and their down comforters are worth cuddling at night as you relax. Great Price/ Great Hotel/Great Service/ Great staff/ Great Combo/ Great family gateaway. Love this place... All are recommended to check this out. Once of a kind themed hotel... will feel like french quarters.

Staff is friendly and goes well beyond their duty to ensure your stay is perfect. Please be aware this hotel has been under new management since August, 2009. The entire hotel has been renovated and all problems fixed. They are the best place to stay in town, in my opinion. Their banquet hall is beautiful, the staff is friendly and courteous, the management will go the distance to make sure your stay/event is a wonderful memory.

EXCELLENT PERSONAL SERVICE AS WELL AS COMFORT. VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, VERY CLEAN ROOMS AS WELL AS EXCELLENT LOCATION. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE

We just had our son's 6th birthday party here. The staff was very friendly and helpful.. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel has been totally re-done, and the rooms are awesome. We will definately be back again!! Anyone needing a room in Burlington should check Howard Johnson's out!!

I was very hesitant about spending New Year's Eve with my friends at this hotel because I have heard many terrible things from the previous owners. My friends and I thought we would give it a shot because we heard there were new owners running the place, and of course because of the great price. I have got to say, I HAD A GREAT TIME! The staff was very accommodating, and the new owners were very, very nice. They kept the spa open till 3:00AM for the customers so after heading to a couple of bars, we were able to relax in the spa. Their bar was also GREAT! They have an enormous flat screen TV so my buddies and I were able to catch the game before we went out. I would definitely come back here again!
