We stay at Heartland Dbq West every time we visit Dbq!

On our last visit to Dubuque, we made last minute reservations. We had to stay at another hotel in the area. We are so much more comfortable at Heartland Dbq West! We will never stay anywhere else. The kids love to eat breakfast there. The staff are so thoughtful and nice. They noticed one of my daughter's prized posessions left on a chair in the lobby. When we came back to the hotel that evening, they remembered us and gave my daughter her treasure. It wasn't a stuffed animal or a toy. It was a dried rose petal. Not too important to most people, but to my daughter, it was irreplaceable at the time. Thanks.

Bus Tour Stayed at Dubuque

My wife and I put bus tours together. Labor Day weekend 2005 we stayed at Dubuque West. One of five different Heartland Inns we stayed at. Heartland Inns on their on put together a game for our group, then gave out prizes at the last motel. (Waterloo) Our Group loved it! The management was super. As soon as we turned the corner in the bus the mgr was out to greet us. The motel was easy access, clean rooms, Great breakfast! Good resturants and easy to get to. If we should ever be passing through Dubuque again we will not hesitate to stay here! One of our pasengers left their shoes at the motel. The motel Mgr drove to Dyersville to bring the shoes to us. Needs a little upkeep

This hotel just needs little details to be fixed and improved now. If it's not improved shortly this will be a dump in about 2 years. The beds were very comfortable though. And the breakfast was good and a variety of choices were offered.

Nice place

Fast, friendly check-in. Spacious rooms, expecially the deluxe. Very well decorated, clean. Wireless internet worked fine. Good breakfast & snacks. Pool very small and no hot tub however.
