Good location, good value
Honestly, you are probably best off choosing this hotel instead of other options in Bloomington up to $25 more per night. Unless you need a swimming pool, you won't gain anything by going elsewhere.
This hotel has a great location within walking distance of College Mall and Indiana University. Since parking is horrible around Bloomington, this is important.
That said, there are some issues with the hotel. Like previous reviewers have said, there are odors of East Indian food in the halls. The air conditioner is quite noisy, a problem during the summer months. Finally, the beds are certainly quite hard. The decor is very outdated, but that is rather superficial when you consider the price.
