Hampton Inn Evansville Airport, Evansville

I turned my bed back as soon as we got in the room! Yeah! 2 bugs was crawling under the sheets! My husband killed them and took them to the front desk. And their reply was I AM SORRy! It was about 11:30 p.m. and we had just got off the road and we were tired. We asked give us clean linen. We took the linen back and attempted to change the sheets. my husband pulled the sheets back and the mattress were bloody, pissy and what ever else god know best. We had twins bed and that was the good one. We stayed there. We got up the next morning itching. We went to check out and tell the desk clerk about the mattress and he did not say a word. We got back home that night and we were itching terribly. we took and hot shower and dabbed with alcholol. The next morning we have weps or bites all over both of us. We went to our doctors and confirmed we both had BED BUGS BITES! On my face, back arms, head and private area. We called them and therm and DAYS INN said send it to my LAWYER. If you want what we got DAYS INN is the place to sleep.

I have stayed here twice and really liked the service and the value of staying here and i will probably stay again. Everyone was very nice. The rooms were clean and spacious.

The pool was great, the sauna was great and that is about it. There was no restaurant, no lounge, and no game room which was the reason we chose that hotel. When we mentioned this to the front desk clerk we were told "it says we have them, not that they are open". We won't be staying there again.

Saw their road sign and gave them a try. It is an older hotel but the manager was very friendly and the staff were great. Rooms were large and the value was perfect. Clean, comfortable and quiet. General Manager told us that new managment took over and are not afraid to put money inot the product. Well worth a try.

We stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Holiday World. Staff friendly, check in was extremely slow. Hotel was a bit run down, but our room was clean. Adjoining restaurant not open, but not a problem for us. They charge you an amenity fee per night per room (for pool use, hairdryer, etc) that is not included in room price- they tried to blame this on Priceline which is who we booked the room through, but is not true. Also will charge you 50 cents per local phone call. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay and won't be spending much time in your room, then this hotel might be ok, but if you're used to a nicer place with less hassles then definitely think twice. We probably wouldn't stay there again.

I would much rather stay at a motel 6 than go back to this hotel. The staff was very rude and not helpful. I reserved the Oasis Spa room and was informed at check in the room was already taken for the evening, however the staff informed me the room was booked the day after we reserved it. so that means our reservation was just throw out because they couldn't even find it. It is out of the way from any mainstream activities. The black out curtains do not reach the full length of the windows therefore airport shone through all night and the huge parking lot light was right outside of my window. Good for a quick nights sleep before hoping on a plane, maybe.

I stayed here with a group traveling for a Karate tournament. The staff was unfriendly and seemed quite irritated during registration. I was not given any conversation on what amenities were available. I did not receive any housekeeping service thus my room was not cleaned.The back door of the hotel had a whole in it and was rusted. My group will be in Evansville next year and we will not stay here.

It was up to a vacationer's standard! No irons or ironing boards! The continental breakfast was just horrendous! There was garbage laying around...the front desk was rude and very unkempt...I will never stay here again...you get better service at Motel 6 down the road!

I just spent the weekend there with a group of pilots. Had it not been for the fact that we catered out every meal, the stay would have been unbearable. The staff was courteous but completely unable to render any assistance. When I asked for an iron, I was told "We don't have'em cuz they kept gettin stolen". The continental breakfast was late poor, No sodas in the machines. No in room internet. Miserable stay at this location.

Very nice hotel. Must have been recently renovated because the hotel was in very nice shape. I love the heated pool.
