This establishment is horrible! If you haven't been to Brazil events before, ask others if you don't believe me. When we booked the room in February for our June event, we was told $48.00 + taxes. Upon check in, we was told that due to the dog event, the price was now $59.95...we argued our point but he didn't speak good enough English to understand. We checked in at 3pm and immediately regretted paying to stay here. It is NOT newly remodeled, nor does it look to have been properly cleaned since they first opened!! Here is a list of our problems... -Bathroom smelt like urine -Bedding was NOT clean *We showed the Manager the bedding, he had someone bring us clean sheets and blankets. It looked as it had already been slept in, BEFORE we went to bed. -Two towels for 4 people for 2 nights *We asked for more, they told us they didn't have enough for everyone so each room was getting two towels and wash clothes. -NO WIFI *We was so tired after not getting into the room until 1am we didn't try to use the computer. Saturday, between events we was told the "server is down, and unsure when it will be fixed" -Floor was "sticky" to walk on -Hairdryer didn't work -Staff was horribly rude -Mirror was so dirty, you couldn't see -No soap or shampoo *We had to go to the desk and ask for them. -Continental breakfast was white bread, STALE cereal, milk, coffee & oj -Hard beds and lumpy pillow -A/C worked on about 50% -Could see daylight around entire door frame I will not recommend this establishment to anyone! We told the manager about all of our problems, he didn't seem to care.

This place isn't fit to stay in. They have broken windows and the smell is unbelievable. This hotel should be shut down!! We couldn't stay as it was so filthy. This place stinks of mold and mildew. I would have rather slept under a tree then sleep in one of there beds.

Why has the board of Helath not shut this place down??? It is dirty and the people who run it are so rude. We left, and went in town to the Villa Motel-MUCH BETTER!

This place was a dump. We had reserved 2 rooms for Friday, October 13th. When we got there we had 2 rooms side by side. One did not have electricity, the other one, the key would not fit. They moved us to another room that the key wouldn't fit. That room was disgusting. There were no towels, the coffee pot had coffee in it that had been there for quite a while. It had MOLD growing in the pot. The coffee filter and coffee was still in the basket. The smell of Pinesol about knocked us down when we went into the room like there was something being covered up. The carpet was wet. The curtains were half hanging. It was very disgusting. I complained to the desk the next morning and the guy told me that I would need to speak to the manager. He would be in at 10:00am. I called back about 10:15am and he was not in. (Imagine that) The guy told me this would be reported to Corporate Headquarters and they would handle the complaint. The guy took my cell phone # and another cell phone #, they also have my home phone #. But guess what I still have no call today. I call back this afternoon, and the manager isn't in. (Didn't surprise me) The lady told me she was part time but they do not have a corporate. We paid over $200.00 for 2 rooms for 1 night. This was ridiculous, not to mention robbery on the rooms. I have stayed in a lot nicer and cleaner hotels for much cheaper. But due to the fact the Mansfield Festival was going on, they were booked up and that is why the price was jacked up. On Friday night when we were checking in there was another lady in the lobby, they were moving her to another room because her room she had gotten was DIRTY! I think this is pretty bad that you cannot even get a call back from the manager of the place. Also, one room on one side was taped off with police tape. We will never stay at this place. Really disgusting! They offer complimentary breakfast, I couldn't eat in the hotel. The lobby even stunk!

I do not want to give them even one star. When we got there our room "REEKED" of Pine Sol so strong we had to leave the door open for a while. The whole place smelled of mold and all around deterioration. There was a hole in the bathroom for the "mice or rats" to get in and out. The base board had rotted out and the carpet stuck to your feet. We were attending a dog competition and several other friends stayed there. Some had to change rooms for various reasons. One saw a RAT bathtubs weren't cleaned, wall paper was peeling off the wall, beds dirty and the smell in some rooms was unbearable. One friend told us their tolit ran intermittently(after it overflowed and was "fixed"). TV's didn't work, screws on the floor. In one room the lights worked when they got there and after the first night the wall switch and lamps between the beds did not work. Electrical problem????? These are not exaggerations by any means and this is only part of what we all had to put up with. The people who run the motel did their best but obviously the place should be condemmed!!
