Cliches in the Advertising

We just went for my son's Navy graduation. For the money we thought it would be the best value. Free shuttle to Navy base, deluxe breakfast, etc. Arriving after a 12 hr drive we find a small lobby with a crabby attendant, no elevators(we were on the 3rd floor), the air conditioner barely worked and the beds hard. We were told the free shuttle was a first come first serve basis and we should be there at 6am. Graduation was at 9am. The shuttle was a Dodge Caravan which only made 2 trips to the base. Other hotels we saw had small buses for their guests.I was all set for the deluxe breakfast....thoughts of biscuits & gravy, eggs and crispy bacon filled my head. Instead I found a suffocatingally small room with three small tables AND 2 kinds of cereal, donuts and english muffins. Coffee(one urn was empty at 6:45) and juice. That is a continental breakfast not a deluxe breakfast. We wish that we had went somewhere else!
