Park Inn, Urbana

The person below must have been at some other motel. My wife and I stayed at this motel for 4 nights last week, and found it to be a hidden gem! We were in town for the Illini Farm Toy Show, and decided it would be easier to just stay at Hanford as that is where the show was. What a great room for the price! What an excellent staff! They bent over backwards to make sure our stay was a total pleasure. Thank you, and we will be definitely staying at this motel again next year!!

I just want to warn you about this hotel. There is a new management that is running this place down. You can check with the Urbana police department about the hotel reports. They are selling the rooms for like $30.00 a night but the only people that stay there is to either do drugs or prostitution. Be careful when traveling to Urbana, try to avoid this place. DO NOT STAY THERE if you are traveling with your family as I said it is a VERY BAD place.

This place was not all that it says. There is no pool that works. The staff are not friendly and the hotel is not clean. I had a wedding reception here and the pictures are what they hope the hotel will look like, not what it does look like. Beds broke, AC broke, Showers Broke, etc. This was just icing on the cake. All of the rooms had problems with them. I paid for table clothes and they came in the wrong color and the hotel wouldn't refund the money even though they were not used and the hotel knew they were the wrong color before the wedding. In the middle of the reception and employee came and turned on all of the lights in the reception area and the bar tender left. I had to argue with the "managment" at the front desk and turn the lights back off myself and cont. a wedding reception without a bartender. I was still charged for time in the room after dealing with all of these problems. Oh, and we paid for champagne for all of the tables and the staff wouldn't hand out glasses to the guests. 2 people asked for them, then I was disturbed as the bride and had to once again argue with the staff for glasses. It was not worth the headache of having a wedding reception here. The guests were not happy with the hotel rooms and all of the problems with the rooms they were staying in and they were shocked about the glasses, lights coming on during the reception, and the bartender leaving.

We were there for a soccer tournament. Four teams total, over 50 rooms. We had 13 year old boys up to 18 year old girls. The same weekend, this hotel also booked a party with strippers (and yes, they were in full view) and bikers that were loud and rude. There was no parking, they ran out of food at the continental breakfast, there were wires hanging from the ceilings, lights not working, towels missing from the bathrooms, and the gentleman at the front desk was visibly intoxicated on Saturday night. We will not be back. If you book for this tournament, do NOT use this hotel!

My whole soccer team had to stay here for a tournment because all of the other hotels were booked. They rip you out of your money! We had to stay two nights and a year ago it was like 100 dollars a night, which was horrible because the bed had holes on the side, the showerhead was ducktaped on, the air conditioning was no good, the halls were hot, it was very buggy in the rooms and by the windows, the wall paper only went around the room halfway, and there was burnt holes in our carpet. I don't recommend anyone to stay here.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights here. We had planned on staying at a different hotel but had to change last minute. We were honestly not expecting much, being as though we had never heard of this place and it doesn't look like much on the outside, but once we went in it was a different story. All the staff was very friendly. The hotel was not very busy and in a secluded area, so it was quiet. The room was bigger than we had expected with a large bathroom for a hotel. It also had a fridge and microwave which was a nice touch. Everything was clean including the outdoor pool. Would definatly stay here again.

Clean Place,Nice Breakfast,no one can beat the price , we stay 2 month,they have every day maid service , we stay other place we get only one time a week.i enjoy this place nice quite,clean feel like home,best rate for weekly. you must stay at parkinn.

Hotel was what we expected it to be for the price. Personnel were very helpful and friendly. Room was ok...all the basics covered. Great location for dinner, and took cab downtown for nightlife at a very reasonable price. Wouldn't stay for a vacation, but for an over night stay it’s hard to beat the price.

The Park Inn of Urbana, Il. doesn't even deserve one star for Awful Service. My first impression of this place was total disbelief. The only reason we stayed is because we were too tired to drive further. We were given a hotel room (105) which has a king bed with a queen headboard and two very small standard pillows. Since we were trying to sleep a family of four, my husband went to the desk to ask for more pillows...they didn't have any but the clerk said she would give him some blankets (sheets actually they turned out to be) to use instead. When we pulled back the covers, the sheets, mattress pad and blanket were so filthy and disgusting, we slept on top of everything in our clothes...and only for 3 hours. Everything in the room was dated, filthy and mismatched, not to mention the horrid smell. The tip I left was for the owner to either get in the hospitality business to be the best or get out because he is giving everyone else a huge black eye. I would never again, under any circumstance, stay in this hovel disguised as a hotel. Steer clear!

like about location and clenless, breakfast,quiet , nice sleep.very happy my stay at parkinn stayed sep 5th and 6 th football weekend pay 120.00 per night but enjoy my stay.week after come for my 14 year daughter for soccer .hotel full with kid's but they have security i can not hear any kid's. my daughter and her schoole have fun. they have nice breakfast.rate was very nice . we chack in town rate was higher then parkinn. we enjoy our stay in urbana.
