the room wasn't cleaned. outlets were fire hazard. fallimg out of the walls. these that were connected still didn't work. the pool was freezing.the plumbing was a nightmare. there was no furniture in the room to sit in nor a table. rust on the shower handle. toliet didn't flush. the staff was rude. elevator didn't work. hot tub closed. i wouldn't stay here again.

Brand new room. Comfortable beds. Great service all around. Breakfast at the hotel was very good and the server very friendly and accomodating. We would definitely return in the future.

For the price I paid for this place I should have gone to the high rises at Ohare. They fool you with a nice exterior but the rooms are horrible in courtyard setup, NO VIEW, NO PRIVACY! Its humid and stinks of chlorine from the inside pool in the middle of the courtyard. I must have called 20 times because the entertainment system was not working. They allegedly send someone to fix but it never worked. I dont know how they stay in business. It is not worth the price they charge!

I would have left the first night except that I had pre-paid the room and they would not issue a refund. The facade looks fine yet the hotel is built in a courtyard style with most? of the rooms having outside entrances. I simply did not feel safe as a professional female business traveler and staff would not place me in an inside room (the hotel was not full.) Rooms are old and outdated. My room thankfully was fairly clean. The workout room was dirty and musty with a few pieces of equipment. I was really, really uncomfortable at this hotel. Please note-I travel often and am not typically one to complain. This is not a hotel to stay at if you want to feel comfortable.

i don't know how Holiday Inn gave this hotel its franchise name. Rooms were awful, Smoky smell in non-smoking rooms,dirty carpet and overall worst experience in hotel stay. Tim Daniels

I had reservations for non-smoking...was put in a putrid smoking room. Internet didn't work (it wasn't my issue). Bathroom light didn't work. Staff did not respond to help after committing to. Staff gave me incorrect information. Entrance looks great...but rooms are old and in need of maintenance. This was my worst hotel stay in several years (outside of 3rd world countries). You can get significantly better amenities and service at Super 8 (at a fraction of the price)!

I booked this hotel because of its convenience to O'Hare and my family who live nearby. Enroute to New Mexico, it became a mini-reunion with the entire family. The staff recommended a "Day Room" adjacent to our room so that the local grandkids could enjoy the pool. Construction was still going on in the parking lot but the staff was helful, and accomodating when approached about any problem. The hotel has new owners/owner and they are doing a great job with an old property. With the problems that occur during renovation, having a staff that is flexible and can keep smiling is a huge bonus!! My room was recently renovated and the decor fresh. The beds were comfortable and my personal favorite..... there was a lavatory at the dressing table area. Because of horrible weather conditions, I arrived a day late and had to leave a day early. It was very pleasant! Location is great close to O'Hare and Downtown Chicago. Rooms are spacious and free Wi-Fi. Had free parking, so it was wonderful not to have to park and walk a long distance away.

If you're familiar with the Holiday Inn HoliDome format, you know that the rooms facing the pool can be loud. In this multistory building rooms facing the pool are the norm... and loud. Another issue is the heat in the dome. The AC in the rooms exhaust into the hallways, feeling a bit like Arizona in the August. My AC ran all night and the room never did get cool. With all the good hotels on the northside, this would not be my first choice unless I was trying to entertain my kids.

This is a good hotel in Skokie. I went to Northwestern and this hotel is close if you have a car (and better than some of the Evanston hotels). Rooms are nice, nothing special, but clean. Location is good - very close to the mall.
