Chicago or Bust!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/13/10
Awesome experience overall-a mere 5 blocks from the Red line (transfer from Orange line from Midway International); location is amazing (just blocks from most major attractions); the Double Decker buses and Trollies are right across the street and the Mc Donalds is a convenient food stop that's open 24 hours a day, and spotlessly clean! The price is amazing considering all of the above-room was clean, comfy and updated-on the small side, however, and no view from the window, but extremely quiet and a nice place to catch a good night's sleep (w/ the exception of intermittent street noise). The sun deck is AMAZING w/ views of almost the entire downtown! All-in-all, 5 out of 5 stars! Will definately stay here again!

Great location
By lovekin40, 8/17/10
Traveled with family of 4 (2 teens) and stayed 3 nights Thurs - Sunday. PROS: This is the reason we picked this hotel- Great location, average price per day $130 included free parking. All other hotels downtown charge for parking and they were expensive. I would recommend this hotel to others, rooms where clean & price was good. Hotel included coffee/tea/hot chocolate milk and cookies. You had access to free internet or lobby had computer and printer for you to use. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Walking distance to transit, subway and close to restaurants. CONS: air condition was noisy in room and elevators & hallways need updating. If you looking for 3 plus - 4star hotel this is not the hotel for you.

Nice.
By Joz, 7/15/10
I loved this hotel, the bar inside was cheap and had great food, it was located at a good place we walked to the Navy Peir & John Hancock center... it was around great places to eat as well! although it was a little "older" the air conditing was good, and hot showers. I would stay their anytime.. & the prices are great considering you get free parking!

Hate It!
By Ashley, 6/20/10
the place itself is located at a convenient place. but the service is terrible. the people working in the lobby are terrible. when i arrived there was two girls chtting and laughing. they barely acknoledged i was there. one womans name was jasmine and i didn't catch the others. terrible service. the rooms on the other hand were decent sized and the food was ok. my friends that were with me had the same experience. i will never stay at this place again. not worth the price. at all.

Great Value! Excellent Location and service.
By Geraldine, 2/17/09
My husband and I stayed at this hotel and I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms and the size of the rooms; they are huge! And you can't beat the location and the free parking. We also got free breakfast vouchers --I expected crummy food, but it was good food -not excellent, but good. We will definitely stay here again.

Chicago here we come~
By Eblu, 2/1/09
The Gurls are planning another trip to Chitown and this is where we stayed the last time we were there. It is very convenient and the price is perfect. All we needed was a place to rest our heads. When I want luxury on a vacation, someone else will be paying for it. Can't wait until August~

Very impressed
By Sharon, 1/28/09
The service was amazing! The place was clean and all the staff members we encountered were very helpful. We wanted to extended our checkout for 1 hour and they were more than willing to accommodate our request. We would definately stay there again. Great location, price and service.

Great Price, Horrible Service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 1/11/09
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel twice. The hotel is a great price and the location is pretty decent. It's slightly run down and could use some work but it's not awful. However, the service at the hotel is HORRIBLE. It started when we called down to the front desk an hour and a half in advance so that the valet could bring our car out for us. The guy at the front desk 'forgot' to contact the valet service. We were nearly an hour late for the concert we had tickets for. The people at the front desk have NO IDEA how to direct you around the city. DO NOT ask them for directions or advice on anywhere to eat or shop. They pretend to have a clue, so instead of just telling us they couldn't help us find our destination, they gave us directions to somewhere totally random. The guy at the front desk gave us opposite directions of where we wanted to go and we ended up paying 45 dollars for a cab because the cab driver drove us somewhere miles away from our intended destination. On our final day there , we called down to the front desk for a luggage cart and it never came. We waited for two hours and finally had to go into the storage room and get it ourselves. Check out time was at noon, but we still wanted to walk around the city for a couple of hours. We asked the girl at the front desk what we should do with our car. She told us parking on the street was free that day, so we didnt have to pay any meters. We knew this sounded too good to be true. Against our better judgement, we did it. We came back to our car to find a parking ticket. When we requested that the hotel pay for it because we were ADVISED to park there, they refused. The hotel is a great value and the location was wonderful but it wasn't worth all of the stress that the hotel's management caused for us. Next time we visit Chicago, I will spend alittle more cash at another hotel in order to stay at one where people actually do their job.

Good Hotel
By Sarah, 5/6/08
I didn't have any problems when I stayed except that I couldn't stay longer! Free parking was great and they let us keep our car there after we checked out til 6pm. Lots of stuff close by, Sears Tower, Navy Pier, etc. Over all nice, clean and friendly people.

Clean, well-maintained, convenient!
By DP, 4/30/08
I traveled with my 10-year-old and stayed here in April during the week. The hotel and our room was spotless, well maintained, and even smelled fresh! All conveniences were available. The pool area was also clean and the water temp was comfortable. Mcdonalds for breakfast was across the street, and the rainforest, hard rock cafe, chicago blues nearby, and within a mile of Navy Pier, Amtrak, walking distance to bus/subway, etc. Staff was courteous, helpful. Quiet enough midweek. Felt safe, room accessible via lobby, rooms secure, etc. If you get a decent rate, and you are not in need of luxury accommodations, this is the way to go!
