rates are too expensive for the area and surrounding hotels. can go across the street and secure a room at a much cheaper rate and cleaner.

Wonderful place!

From the newly remodeled guest rooms to the incredible health club next door, you can't go wrong. The staff is incredibly friendly and the entire hotel is so clean and welcoming. A great place at a bargain rate!

Shaving kit return

I checked out of hotel after my weeks stay on April 14, 2011. I realized I had left my shaving kit in my room approx April 20, 2011. No one from hotel contacted me. I phoned hotel to inquire if kit had been found and was told yes. I requested return of kit to another holiday inn express I was now staying at on April 20, 2011. I was told I would have to pay for return. While on phone with Palatine, Il hotel clerk I faxed my Fed Ex acct number along with my home address requesting kit be shipped. Clerk stated "no problem". As of this date I do not have my shaving kit and will most certainly have to travel to hotel to retrieve it. I still don't understand why hotel did not contact me when they had found shaving kit in the room I had left it! Well, back to the phone and lessons in futility. Thanks for nothing!

Rate Good but won't go back

The rate was very good and the staff the friendliest ever the breakfast was good also. But the block walk to the pool down through the World Gym was a bit much. The pool,steam room, whirlpools are not in the Holiday Inn Express but in theWorld Gym next door it was not very clean at all the whirlpool actually stunk. Because of this I would never book here again. If you don't care about those items this is a nice and reasonable place to stay.

Free access to healthclub in same building. Free continental breakfast also. Great location very close to interstate. Recommended highly. Hotel staff were very friendly and courteous.

Last Minute Business Trip

Good rates in northern Chicago burbs. Hotel was clean. Staff were warm and friendly. Food was good. Facilities were more than expected. I used the World Gym to calm my guilt for overeating on this trip.

Sheraton like Hotel

Wow! What a hotel, this place has it all. Friendly, courteous staff, all the amenities, right off the interstate. The hotel was so cozy and nice that I didn,t feel like leaving. My kids loved the free health club facilities, while my husband and I lounged by the fabulous pool. I highly recommend this place to all that need to be in the area.

Overpriced for a midprice hotel chain. The continental breakfast was good and the complimentary local paper was nice. The TV only had the weather channel unless you wanted to pay for something else, but maybe that was just a technical problem. The hotel was nice, but way too expensive.
