great service for a great value

The front desk staff were very helpful in accommadating us to a nice king room. It had recently been recarpeted, had a recliner, work area for my our laptop, nice and quiet on their riverside and a reasonable hot waffle breakfast in the morning. Our stay was great. Thanks Cindy and Staff
 
 
 
 
 
False advertisement, but okay

The website advertised "pillow-top" matresses, but the hotel didn't know anything about that. Otherwise, the stay was average. Pretty clean and comfortable. Nothing to write home about, that's for sure. Wireless internet caused problems with my laptop, but I was using their loaner wireless card. I probably won't stay there again due to other choices in the area, but it would do in a pinch.

We felt we got alot for our money. We paid for a standard room. We got a clean room with a queen bed, microwave oven, refrigerator, hairdryer, ironing board and iron and a recliner! The people were pleasant and the continental breakfast was satisfactory. Downside: It is near railroad tracks and we did hear some trains.
