simply spectacular
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 8/28/07
listen guys... you can stay at the big fancy hotel next door but you wont have it like this. Even though you dont get room service who cares i made food all week and bbq'd. it cost me way less and the full kitchen helps alot. forget all that... WHAT its REALLY about is my View. It was nothing short of AMAZING. the breeze all day long... the sun the cliff the blue waters... at night you see just billions and billions of stars. i would have my breakfast everyday and gaze out into such a spectacular view. everyday was a great day. i cant wait to take my whole family here and stay at this place. i would love to own this property and come whenever i please.. you should check it out. its a good rate and just so freaking nice... aloha

WARNING - DO NOT STAY HERE,,,, BAD HOTEL.... NOT 3 star,,, BUGS + RODENTS
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 6/18/07
Warning, do not stay at this place,,, the rooms are infested with cockroaches, silver fish, and worst of all lizzards walking inside the room.... Also, there was a musty smell in the room and it had a feeling of the Bates motel... My fiancee and I ended up not even staying there upon check-in and went up the street to the Princeville at $500 per night.... Unless you like bugs and lizzards or your a Norman Bates fan,,, DO NOT STAY HERE!!! They call it a 3 star,,, but it was more like a Motel 6.... one star at best....

Wonderful Place
By Jeffery, 6/1/05
My wife and I just returned from staying at Puu Poa while in Kauai. The condo was great and the views were amazing. You can't beat the price for the location and you can use the amenities at the Princeville Hotel. Oh Puu Poa has the better beach. I will point out that the units do not have air conditioning. While I thought this would be a big problem when I first discovered the problem it was only a minor issue.

Too much concrete
By Mitch, 9/1/04
This complex is right on the ocean with great views and has a lovely secluded beach but the complex itself has a heavy concrete feeling - like being in LA in Kauai. At odds with the environment.

Gorgeous place
By d d, 6/1/04
Absolutely a stunning architecture bldg, right next door to Princeville hotel and it has a private beach. The rooms are spacious, great location and great family vacation place!! You don't have to pay an arm and a leg like you would for Princeville resort hotel. Yet, you're next door and can use the same amenities that Princeville community offers. There are closeby , walking distance restaurants or you can cook at the unit kitchen. Kauai is so lush and beautiful, great island, make you feel relax and peaceful, away from the hustle bustle way of life.
