Napili Sunset, Lahaina

It was quiet, comfortable, and locals were also staying there. Not a resort hotel by any means, but if you're looking for a reasonably priced place on Maui it can't be beat. We were not in the beachfront rooms, but across the small street from it. we visited the beach from our location for one sunset and the rest of the time we explored great snorkeling locations nearby. This was an excellent location as a home base for these endeavors. Would stay again.

We first stayed at the Napili Sunset while on our honeymoon in 1977. Five nights in one of the studio units, and we were hooked on the location. The past three years we have spent two weeks in one of the oceanfront one bedroom units. Wonderful staff, superb waterfront location, and we've met lots of neat people there. Locals can get loud at night occasionally, but overall, the best vacation spot we have found!!!

Location, Location, Location. It doesn't get any better then this. The units are all well cared for and clean. A nice lawn in front of the units keeps things private but you are just a hop skip to the beach. The little bay has a calm and rough side so everyone can be happy. you can snorkel right in front and see many kinds of fish and turtles. You are near a little store, snorkel bobs and a couple of nice restaurants all within a couple of blocks. If you like high rise luxury this is not the place for you. This is very hawaiian! Enjoy!

Napili Sunset is a great buy. It is centrally located in the middle of a bay protected by two reefs. You can swim, snorkel and, surf permitting, surf all right out your front door. The beach is great and there are two ocean view restaurants, one at either end of the half moon shaped bay. You can walk down the beach to either.
