King and Prince Beach Resort, St Simons Island

We Loved our stay at the King and Prince Beach Resort! Everyone was Very friendly, and the service was Excellent. The food was Fabulous and the rooms were very nice. So many things that we loved... the Couples Massage.. was HEAVENLY! THE Delegal Dining Room was simply Gorgeous with the antique stained glass scenes. The view of the ocean and the ever changing scenery so inspiring, especially when the dolphins would swim by:).

BEST PLACE EVER to get married. My husband and I initially looked at another facility in Jekyll Island and were made to feel like we were taking up their time. Ann Thompson and Scarlett Starr are amazing to work with and make you feel like your wedding is the most important thing to them. They as well as their staff go above and beyond to make your day special. I could not have dreamed of having a better day and they made it possible!

I have been traveling as part of my job for years, and I have never stayed in such a wonderful place. I wasn't expecting too much from it seeing as I knew I would have to spend most of my time working. The food was wonderful. The staff was friendly. The view was amazing. I am ready to go back for vacation.

Great ambience, location, and amenities...food, service and bar get AAA rating...I would compare this in every way to the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego, CA....plus reasonable rates and that special Southern Charm!

The only thing about this Hotel Beach Resort that does not need to be replaced is the Beach. As far as the hotel, the place is full of mold and mildew, carpets are old, ceilings are chipping, toilets back up, tubs are clogged, and this was just the first room I was in. The second room had blood stains on the bed, and the bed was broken. Could not speak to Housekeeping, because they only speak Spanish. Checked out without even staying, and the Management can care less. They said have a nice day. Over heard the desk clerk say as I was leaving, good we now have a room for the fat guy. For the amount of money this dirty hotel is not worth the visit. Go to Disney much better time.

Was a little concerned with some of the reviews I'd read about the place, but my girlfriend's parents swear by it so we checked it out. The resort was gorgeous. We booked and oceanfront room in the main hotel, but when we got there, we found out that those rooms had been overbooked and got moved up to a Cabana! SWEET. Will definitely be back!

Okay, first and foremost, this might be one of the nicest resorts I have ever stayed at. I planned a quick getaway for my wife and two teenagers over our spring break and I couldn't have been more pleased. Reservations were simple to make and I got great discounts on two nights of my stay. Check-in was a dream and the resort property was stunning. Kids loved the pool and beach. The wife and I loved the Blue Dolphin Restaurant. The rates are a little higher than area hotels, but the comfort and the service are worth it. We stayed in the Oceanfront Building overlooking the pool. Bathrooms were a little small, but overall, the rooms were pretty big. We are definitely looking to come back during the summer!!!

Best spot on Coastal Ga The DH experience with the King and Prince was one of the best vacations I ever had. I am the Golf Travel Guru..so I have stayed at some of the top resorts in the US and International. I would have to say my trip to St. Simmons Island was a top ten for myself..which means you must come to the King and Prince and stay. So much to do and see there. Their staff was the best ever, so friendly, polite. The food was unreal and their Seafood Buffet has to be one of the best meals my wife and I had ever eaten!! The King and Prince Golf Course has to be one of the best golf courses in all of Georgia and I should know. The views are great and they just redid the course with Billy Fuller..so you need to come back and see the new look! Dont wait..come on down..bring yourself, or your family and enjoy The King & Prince Golf and Beach Resort..also a great spot for that next business trip with your company! There is not much more you could ask for--great hotel, wonderful room, perfect bed, and access to a most enjoyable golf course though it is a bit of a drive from the hotel. Wonderful restaurants nearby.

We spent the weekend at King and Prince and enjoyed every moment. The room was perfect, the anniversary dinner was great and the Sunday Brunch was delicious. We'd never visited St Simons Island before...but would go back in a minute, especially to stay at King and Prince.
