Pleasant surprise!
By GulfcoastRick, 11/16/08
We discovered this most charming and amazing place two years ago, quite by accident. Initially drawn by the old southern style mansion that holds the main office area, we stopped and were immediately impressed by the friendly and courteous staff and finally upon entering our room, were pleased by its ample roominess and cleanliness. Our room had a front door and also a back door that lead into a beautiful, 13 acres of landscaped gardens with a pond, waterfall and the biggest magnolia tree we have ever seen! Very serene and relaxed setting at a very affordable price. They had a very nice, separate lodging area for people and their beloved pets. The rooms are well equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, radio, coffeemaker and iron & ironing board. The contintental breakfast was good. This is not your run of the mill, overnight accomodation and has earned itself as one of our favorite lodging stops by these happy snowbirds.

VERY DREAMY!
By Sunflower, 6/24/08
I loved the old feel about it. It used to be a plantation site back in the day. The people are extra, extra friendly. They have great Southern hospitality. The town seem small but that's great! The beds are so soft and dreamy. You'll fall right asleep. If i could live there i would.lol.the bathroom is gorgeous.

Stay Away from room 103
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/9/07
If you like a room with internet connection, dont get the room on the far end of the hotel like I did. Room 103 has no internet connection.

Plan to continue to stay there every year
By Visitor, 5/8/07
I liked the old section which were remodeled since my previous visit. The rooms were big that during our five day visit we all were not running into each other. The service was great they saw to my every request. The biggest plus was how quiet it was and located so close to US 75. We plan to continue staying there every year.

Wow!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 4/20/07
I had stayed here last year and had noticed that they were beginning to remodel. I just stayed there a week ago and boy what a change!! It's under new ownership and the rooms have all been redone and are very nice. The staff was courteous and it is close to all of the restaurants in the area. I will stay here every time I am in Perry! Thanks for the great stay!!

It looks very inviting....but
By easygo, 12/29/06
The lobby and entrance are decorated well. But when we went to our room, we were surprized. It was ok but not what we expected. Needs some paint and redo bathroom. Clean but I don't think I would go back.
