Parking was difficult to find w/o a cop’s direction. The parking deck was behind the hotel. So if you were in front of the hotel you had to go on 3 one way streets to get to parking. Not to mention they charge 15 dollars for parking and there isn’t any validating. The hotel lobby was beautiful with nice flooring and flat screen TVs, but this was not a prelude to the room. When checking in we were told there were no more deluxe double rooms w/ double beds in them. This is what we reserved. We took the deluxe king reluctantly. When entering the room, we saw a faux king bed low to the ground and a spotty red chair. The window treatments had stains and so did the toilet and sink. Mold was in the shower also. Wires were hanging out of the thermostat. Our entertainment was a 19inch tube television. The skyline was nice until you looked on the concrete patio floor where there was a reminisce of a party that included but was not limited to blunt fillings scattered in a corner, cigarette butts, shaving cream top, ashes and dirt everywhere. After getting over the initial shock of the room we decided to make the best of the night and got dressed. When we got back from our festivities we decided to go to sleep around 2:30 am. We were awakened by a crash onto the concrete patio around 3 am. Not knowing what it was, we fell back asleep only to be awakened 45 minutes later by a continuous knock at the door. Another guest a few floors above us had dropped their phone onto our patio. At the time we had no clue as to who this person was or what they wanted. We didn't know if someone was playing a New Year's Eve joke or if this was a criminal. So we did not open the door. Well she kept knocking for a good 30 minutes and we contacted the front desk who stated and I quote “can we or can we not open the door and give this person what they were looking for. The only person in the hotel that had sense was the security person who confronted the knocker and asked her to leave. We finally got to sleep for a good 3 hours until we were awakened at 7 am by another knock on the door from someone who stated they were housekeeping. When we peeked through the peephole, this person did not have a uniform on or a housekeeping cart. It was the same person from the night before!!!! Needless to say, we were ready to get our stuff and leave. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.

Throwup in one of the two only working elevators. Two were broken and they were having a party on the 25th floor. Staff seemed to not care about anyone. You have to pay 15$ a day for parking and they dont tell you this until you get there. Towels had blood or some other substance on them. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Upon arrival waited 20 minutes before greeted by valet. When checked into room found it to be two double and not a king. Changed rooms to a king. Went to dinner, three table in the restaurant and still took 20 minutes for drink order. Food okay not worth the money small portions and generic food for high prices. Had purchased package deal with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne, half way through the meal asked for it to be delivered and stated we had changed rooms and provided the clerk with the correct room number. After dinner we discovered the items not sent to our room but the original room. While waiting over an hour for the items to arrive another couple opened our door and walked in, they had sold the room we were staying in. Called the front desk and had the other couple meet with the front desk. No apologies no call from manager and no offer to make the problems stop. During the night woken up multiple times due to loud guests. Avoid at all costs much better hotels for the same price.

I love the hotel characrater. It was beautiful. The service was great and I can't wait to go back. The restaurant was great too. My friends and I had a weekend to remember.

I like this hotel's location - right off I-85 and its parking garage ($15 per day self-parking). Rooms are clean and neat. There's also a bar brewing Starbucks in hotel lobby, and the gym has about 6 treadmills each with a small TV attached on top. I don't like this hotel's $15 breakfast buffett since most other hotels, including Embassy Suite, offer free breakfast. If you don't want to have breakfast buffett, you have walk a few blocks to find other alternatives. What made me most upset is this hotel charges $12 per day for internet access from the room while almost all the hotels I have stayed over the years provide it for free. I definitely wouldn't stay in this hotel again because there's no distinct feature I would enjoy to re-visit when there're so many other quality hotels around the same area.

EVERYONE WAS VERY NICE WHEN WE WOULD LEAVE AND COME BACK THAY WOULD WELCOME US BACK. ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND BED WAS NICE VIEW WAS GREAT BREAKFAST WAS INCLUDED IN OUR PACKEAGE AND WE GOT ATTRACTION TICKETS AND FREE PARKING IT WAS GREAT WE ENJOYED OUR SELFS!!!

Based on the Renaissance name, I thought I was staying at a 4 or 4 star hotel. I ordered room service and asked for a French wine prominently displayed in the menu, and was told "We don't got that." I chose a cheaper wine. The room service person showed up with a *very* cheap (BV) wine, not the one I ordered, but charged me for the premium wine I ordered. This is a dishonest hotel, and the manager was not willing to come up and speak to me about it.

The room was clean and large. Staff members were very friendly, courteous and professional. The view from the balcony was simply beautiful. The noise from the traffic did not bother us. My husband and I enjoyed our stay. We plan to stay here on our next visit to Atlanta.

I found the staff the be very friendly during my stay. Always greeted by everyone where ever I went in the hotel. Standard breakfast buffet for the chain. Dinner was good. Location was good in that I was able to walk to the Georgia Aquarium, with some detours due to street construction. Metro station was nearby, so when I finally got tired of walking around, I was able to catch a train back to the hotel. If you do not have a car, there is not much to walk to for meals, rely on a taxi or the hotel restaurant. You might be able to stroll to the Georgia Tech campus. I did not look in that direction.

I enjoy the hotels proximity to downtown as well as the overall service that was provided. I visited the hotel for a business meeting and found the hotels business services to be quite nice. I will definitely come back to this hotel for my next Atlanta business meeting!
