This motel has such a strict cancellation policy. They will not let you cancel if you are 2 weeks away from your reservation. Things come up sometimes and you can't go. And this is on a game weekend when it is almost impossible to get a room in Athens. They want to charge anywhere from $100-$152 to cancel 10 days out. This is riduculous when they will be able to rent the room so easily. Don't reserve here!

I stayed here based upon the reviews I read. WOW! What a mistake! This place was TERRIBLE! What a dive! The first room was dirty and the sheets had not been changed, just tucked back into the bad. I complained to management and should have left right then and there; however, the manager was very apologetic and offered a discount if I would try another room. She they gave me keys to two other rooms to try. The first smelled musty, so I tried the next room. It was better, but I learned in the middle of the night that the toilet was broken. I had to remove the tank lid to push the flapper down in order to get the tank to refill with water. After a terrible night attempting to sleep on a lumpy bed with a worn out mattress, I decided to try the continental breakfast. The breakfast area was crowded with the maids sitting at the tables eating and chatting before their shift started. Very rude and unprofessional! Anyway, my stay at this hojo was the pits. Never again! Take my advice: go elsewhere when visiting Athens. It would be a real challenge to do worse.

hi, i stayed here for a week and got excellent service from every one in hotel, clean place, old property but well maintain, 24 hrs service available with maintenance and front desk, breakfast was good as compared to other hotel, rate was very low. near to restaurants and mall, felt like home away from home

This hotel was not what we expected at all. After reading reviews, we booked three nights and were very sceptical but while not new, it was clean inside and out. The rooms across the hall were being renovated while we were there but our room was nice enough. We had all the conveniences of a mini fridge, microwave, iron, hairdryer, etc. New landscaping outside was nice too. The office offers free computer access with printing option. Breakfast was good with a nice variety...they just needed to add some fresh fruit. This is a great stay for the money if you are traveling thru Athens or staying for a couple of days. Great Location too. We was pleasantly surprised.

we were very pleased with this hotel. They staff was great, and the rooms were very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone needing a place to stay.

I'm sorry to writhe this but feelthat someone higher up should know - we declinded the first room shown because of horrible sewer type odor and then found that the same odor was in our second room. very unpleasant stay except that we were out of the room most of the time. also - not enough towels in bathroom. Making another reservation now for another hotel in athens for a vist in Nov.
