Clarion Hotel Atlanta Airport South, Jonesboro

This is the only holtel we could find with a restaurant/bar.Some restaurant! advetise breakfast buffet, but in the week I was there I never saw it. probably bacause low attendance at the hotel. Is there a prerequisite of number of guests registered before the buffet is actually done? If that's the case, put in a disclaimer, subject to total hotel population.leaking roofs in the lobby, no internet connection in the rooms, no stand to place your luggage, just place it on the floor.My room had the phone missing from the desk, just wires sticking out of the wall. Tuesday is the mangers special reception.Free beer and wire fine, but "BABY" quiche and fruit/ come on , add something to it like meat or quesidillas.Security was finebut seeing the notice doors locked between 1100-0600 am makes me think this area isn't that safe.I'm glad they posted the notice anyway.This hotel needs major upgrades but I don't think that it will bring in many new customers as the location seems to be in a depressed area.You know the saying, LOCATION,LOCATION, LOCATION.Maybe this was a good location when first built but cost may be in issue. Oh yeah , one other thing, not sure if it was the hotel or one of the surrounding businesses but could someone schedule the garbage pick up AFTER 900a.m.?? the beeping of a truck in reverse at 0600-0630 really disturbed my sleep.Upgrade those showers also, the 2 water controls (hot and cold) being seprate are way outdated. If you have to go to this hotel, excpext the basics, no frills here.1-5 rating, about a 2.5-3.0
