Worst hotel i almost stayed at
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/16/07
After asking for a first floor room and being told they did not have any available, my wife and i lugged our suitcases up the stairs to the second floor as there were NO elevators at this hotel. The room decor was very dated (think 1970s) and the carpet worn. Could not tell if the bathrooms were clean because of the dated decor and dated tubs and toilet. We called the front desk and told them we would be leaving. That is when they offered us a room on the first floor ( a room which was NOT available 20 minutes earlier). i checked out and went across the street to La Quinta and for 75 dollars we had elevators, a clean room, and updated hotel. (this was $45 dollars cheaper than the holiday inn). HOWEVER, i have yet to be credited with a room charge on my credit card. SO it seems my bad experience also cost me $ 119.70 !!! This is definately NOT up to a Holiday Inn Experience. Paul & Jean W

Okay for one night stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/19/06
The entire Staff including the maids and front desk clerks were very helpful and friendly. High speed internet worked well. Beds were very uncomfortable and the bathtub/shower was dirty. Check in time is not until 4p.m. which I think is a bit late. Snack machines are outside which makes no sense.

too dirty to imagine
By Sandra, 06/27/06
Our family stayed at this Holiday Inn three miserable nights (no other motels were available due to a convention). The room was musty and damp and the carpet was so dirty and sticky we were forced to remove the bedspreads and spread them on the floor because we could not STAND for our feet to be on that carpet. We thought the room rate was good until we saw the room. It wouldn't be worth saying there for free. This motel needs a serious remodel.

No Problems During My Stay
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/27/05
I was just there Oct. 2- - 24th (2005) for family day for one of the schools on Ft. Benning. My room was nice sized, I had free internet, house keeping was on top of things, they shuttled me to the airport earlier than they normally start, I would very much stay there again and am hoping to in December when I go back. I've stayed in horrible places and this wasn't one of them ;)

WILL NEVER COME BACK!!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/15/05
I was a guest at you Holiday Inn March 11th and 12th, 2005. The room I was a guest in has a strong mildewy, wet and musky smell. As of now, I am very sick with flu like symtons from the enviroment this weekend. I have incurred extra expenses by seeing my doctor on Monday as well as medications for my illness. I had to return to the front desk on three different occasions because the keys did not work. I was stranded outside the entrance door on one occassion and had to wait until someone was leaving before I could get back in. I had breakfast in the resturant on Sunday moring which was a disgrace. There was no food on the bar as well as no plates and what food I did get tasted terrible. Upon leaving I had to wait several minutes for the waitress to get me a ticket to pay. Upon paying for the breakfast, I was informed the cashier had no money to give change. I then had to borrow money from my friend to pay for this so called breakfast buffet.

Poor Accommodations!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/02/04
We stayed here while visiting our son in nearby Fort Benning. Our room was filthy. (Our feet were so dirty from walking on the carpet in our bare feet) There was mold in the bathroom. The hallways were never vacuumed the whole time that we were there and were extremely dirty. Our dirty dishes from room service sat outside our door for 2 days before anyone picked them up. I would not recommend anyone staying here. Not worth the money. The only good thing was that this hotel is in a convenient location near Fort Benning and off the freeway.
