Island Place Condominium Rentals, Cedar Key

Beautiful view of the bay, hot tub in which to relax, quaint shops to pass the time, no fast food chains, no malls. What more could you ask for, for a VACATION?

I have visited cedar key 25 times or more and stayed at the Island Place at least 22 times. I began making a game out of trying to see if I could spend a visit in each one of the rooms simply because I liked the place so much. Whether arriving early or late, I was always welcomed as if I were a VIP. The hotel is just, all around, excellent. Fishing is bar none, and the scenery is fantastic. Being a smaller town, the people there seem to work in collaboration with each other in most areas and you will be able to do or find anything you may desire to do through the hotel and it's staff. What's not to like. It's romantic, peaceful and makes you feel like you're on a deserted island. It is so quiet and laid back, it's like going back in time to a place of contentment. We did alittle fishing and site seeing. The people were all so friendly and The Island Place was beautiful over looking the water. The suites were beautiful and the staff was friendly and very helpful with information on the history of Cedar Key. We can't wait to go back and we want to take some friends with us because we know once the see it, they'll be regulars also.

Our first trip to Cedar Key, and Island Place was the most convenient place to stay at on the island. We walked or rode our bikes everywhere. We enjoyed the restaurants and clubs on the dock/street. It is not a wild place as far as excitement, but it is really a good way to see old Florida, we went to Suwanee and saw all the gators, birds, Indian mounds, and wildlife. We took a catamaran out to the lighthouse and really enjoyed the trip. We hope to go back. The rooms were so beautifully done and spacious. The little porches each of us had, had a swing and table and chairs. It was so nice, wish I was there right now.
