Won't come back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/04/09
Make sure you live in the tower room. We stayed in the tranditional room first. The room is small, there is no separate bathroom/shower room(just a slide door in between). In the second day, the water was running down from the bathroom celing light fixture. Luckily no one in the bathroom. We got immidiate change to a tower room. A little better. We will not come back to this hotel again.

Won't go back
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/02/09
Well what did we like, the location and the bus service thats it. Check in on Sunday and couldnt wait to leave come Friday. The room was terrible. Dont know where they spent all that money not on our room. The tub was chipped up the water ran leaving a nasty rust stain. Two days we only had 3 towels one night returned back to the room and had to call down for towels cause we had none. Used the same bars of soap the whole week never got fresh ones. The rooms were old and nasty looking.

Motel 6 would be better!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/07/09
This so called resort is a horible place to stay if visiting Disney. The only good thing that i can say about the REGAL SUN is that its right across the stree from downtown disney. But other than that the service is horrible they have no customer service skill at all. the rooms stink. they dont empty the trash in your room unless you put the trash cans outside the door. You ask for TOWELS they give A towel. like you have to share with the rest of your family. They try to charge you with fees and other items that you never purchased or recieved. Management is rude, like you have a problem with your room or something and you talk to management they do everything but actually say that "its not my problem"..... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GREAT STAY IN ORLANDO / DISNEY DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT SATY AT THIS HOTEL. IT MAKES MOTEL 6 LOOK LIKE A PALACE!!!

The worst hotel ever!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/03/09
The service was terrible... my room smelled.... my reservation was not correct... my car got hit ($2,000 damage) while in the parking lot because they don't have enough parking for guests... No towels at the pool....they did nothing to make our stay better. They had a fight in the lobby on Saturday! This is a trashy hotel.... NOT for families!!!! I will NEVER return. It is worth a little extra to go someplace nice.

Nightmare
By Joan, 03/16/09
This hotel claims to be an official disney hotel. Well, according to Disney it is not - it is built on disney property. They wouldn't want to be connected to this place! Miserable staff that lie (Bessy), filfthy room, no housekeeping,smoke-filled. If you book through Orbitz(as we were told at the desk) they put you in their annex where you need to take 2 different elevator banks to the main lobby. I woulld not stay here if it was given to me!!! They should be investigated for many reasons.

Do not stay here. Listen to us!!!
By nottoodemanding, 03/14/09
This is absolutely the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. I read the reviews, and booked a room in the tower. They did not honor our room! They placed us in a horrible room. Tiny room, tiny beds, loud HVAC. My 2 small kis had trouble sleeping the first night. I complained, and they said they were overbooked. This is not an honorable hotel operator. We stayed one night, and moved to another hotel the next day. The staff was also smug, rude and inefficient. Do not make the same mistake that we did. Avoid this terrible place at all cost.

Regal Sun Last Resort
By Ted L, 12/17/08
Place is a dump, charges that I did not make are showing up on my credit card, dirty, surly personnel, place should be demolished.... Bot room from Priceline who says this slum is a 3 1/2 star hotel and ignores my complaints. Avoid.

Miscommunication, rude front desk, and more
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/01/08
In a nutshell, the phone reps do not communicate with the actual hotel, they try not to deliver on package items unless you have proof, and the front desk is rude and confrontational. Great way to start a vacation, right?! We booked the “Pleasure Island Farewell Orlando Hotel Deal” for weekend visit of 3 nights. It is advertised as $89+ and 2 PI tickets per night. We booked directy with the hotel after confirming the package details. Our flight was cancelled, so we did not make it to hotel until 1 day later. We had made multiple calls to the hotel's Orlando number and be assured multiple times that our reservation was still good and there would no penalty for arriving late. However we arrived and a very confrontatial, rude front desk hostess and manager told us the reservation was a "no show yesterday" and had been cancelled. They said the phone representatives are in Canada, so our previous calls and assurances were not valid. Exhausted from travel, we refused to leave until they honored our reservation. We eventually were given "the last room left" and only 2 PI tickets, rather than 4 (2 per night according to package). We argued and displayed our original reservation email that clearly stated Daily Rate including 2 PI tickets per night of the reservation. They could not argue with physical proof. It was a very unwelcoming and negative experience to start off our stay. Needless to say, we will not ever stay there again. A few dollars less is not worth a negative experience at your hotel. Stay anywhere else.

poor service
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/11/08
The only good things about this hotel is that they have a small snack area and the bus service to disney world. The service was awful by most of the staff. The rooms were very dirty. We asked for two extra sheets and never received them. We were there for a week and couldn't wait to leave. One day we didn't have toliet paper and another day we were only given three towels. A few times our door wasn't fully shut. The televeision didn't work and the air conditioner was very loud. The worst thing about it was that we vwere given a room adjacent to the parking. The staff was very unfriendly and short with the service. When checking in we were not given the room with two beds as requested. We were given confusing directions to our room and after asking several staff members no one was able to help us. When we called for sheets they were never brought down and when we called for two bath towels they brought us fifteen towels! The staff had poor attitudes and were not interested in helping. Stay away from the poor service hotel.

Awful
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/11/08
What did I like? New pool and the location was nice. What did I dislike? All of their staff was horrible. Early wake up by maids who like to slam doors. Charges to credit cards that I have no knowledge about along with no parking on the hotel grounds. It was a total rip off.
