Southernmost on the Beach, Key West

This was the best trip of my life. The hotel, pool, food and hammocks exceeded my expectations. Our room was spotless, the view perfect, and we didn't want to come home. There was so much to do, and yet we didn't have to do anything because everything that we needed or wanted was right outside the door. What a beautiful place to be. What beautiful memories. Thanks Southernmost. We'll be back.

My last stay in Key West was in 99. This place wasn't even there. Well it was but not like it is now. The NEW hotel, still privately owned, was beyond what we had hoped for. I really can't say enough about the rooms / staff / rooms / the pool / the rooms / food / and did i say the rooms ? Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff was friendly / helpfull / from the desk staff to the service staff. All that AND the hotel is green. Especially helpful to the Key West area. On returning home, I promised myself a return certainly sooner than before. Again the place was perfect. Even the location of the hotel. Duval St is in walking distance , being the hotel is at one end of. Make no mistake, this hotel is a sure bet for a great time. Aslo the Dewey and LaMer should be considered. Colleen and Terry

This place had a fantastic beach and they had people come by to bring frozen fruit and towels, the pier was a great place to get some sun, they have a spa on-site, the pools were clean and nice. The bartender's were wonderful. The room was clean and pretty. Close enough to Mallory Square that a person in reasonably decent health can walk there. The concierge was knowledgeable and helpful. This place is affordable. It was quiet at night and we felt completely safe. There is a restaurant there and the breakfast was delicious and visually appealing. We've stayed many places in Key West, but this is our favorite!

I've stayed several places in Key West over the years and last summer I stayed at the Southernmost Hotel. Now that I've stayed there, I won't stay anywhere else! The hotel has the best beach in Key West. The pier is awesome. You can walk down steps right into the beautiful clear water. There are several tiki bars and the Southernmost Cafe is a nice spot with a great view to have breakfast or lunch. While you lounge on the beach, the staff bring around frozen pineapple and frozen wash cloths to cool you off. The bartenders are awesome as well as the rest of the staff. The rooms aren't fancy but are clean and comfortable. The location is great...at the quiet end of Duvall. Key West has long been my favorite spot and now Southernmost Resort is my favorite spot on the island.

We stayed at the Southermost Hotel, It was beautiful, the pool was there outside our room, the tiki bar and the people that works there are super nice. The hotel is within walking distantce to everything, you can walk to all the restaurants/bars.

My new wife and I recently had the opportunity to stay at this location. the rooms were spacious and had breathtaking views of the ocean. Our room had a private balcony overlooking the Atlantic...a truly magnificent view. The hotel staff was courteous and professional and the grounds were immaculately maintained. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking to enjoy an island getaway!

Wonderful staff. They take care of everything. From bringing you extra towels, to waiting on you at the pools and bars, and even unlocking the safe when you forget the code. Pools are fantastic. (HEATED) Loved the tanning pier. Located on the south end of Duval street which is the quiet end. Forgot something? There is a great mini mart 4 blocks away which carries everythng. I loved waking up in the morning and stepping out my door to the sound of the ocean and the beach. My son loved the large hammocks. Definitely worth the time and money.

on behalf of our group of 8, we were all quite pleased with the "southernmost on the beach", some had chose oceanfront, which they were very happy with all as well as the breathtaking views,and we were quite happy with the newest addition(large room, oceanview,private balcony)the pool,pool bar,beach and oceanfront cafe,is a must,you have to try and not pricey,very nice menu, service was excellent(very accommodating) everything is very clean,kept up and beautiful! when you feel like trying something new for dinner, the "Lerettoria"italian restaurant is awesome, "Crabby Dicks" for seafood was o.k., there are many shops and other places to eat down Duvall St., don't miss the sunset at Mallory Square,very scenic and breathtaking as well, our experience was great, we would highly recommend it, it is worth every penny, and would definitely go back!!! enjoy!! n. indiana

location was primo,amenities were great.stayed there april 27 and 28 of 08,enjoyed our room layout,and ocean view.nice restaurant just outside your rm and pier is relaxing as well.

the southernmost was perfect. We had an ocean view room on the second floor. the room overlooked the pool, which was wonderful. it had everything you could want, a pool, a private beach, and a tiki hut with bar and restaurant. the room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was awesome. we are definately planning on going back next year.
