You Get What You Pay For--Not Again

Stayed there with family for two nights. Landscaping is beautiful, but the hotel itself needs remodeling. Headboard in room was leaning. Remote did not work. Fortunately, the rooms were clean. Requested blanket and had to go through red tape to get it because the staff stated that housekeeping was closed after hours when I saw the blankets as they opened the door to their office just prior to my request. Who has ever heard of such? By the way, they do not have hotel comment cards. They only have comment cards for housekeeping, which is why I am submitting this review.
Poor location! The area appeared to be in an industrial park. No restaurants close by and the staff was not very helpful in helping you find one. On second day found out that there were restaurants about 1 1/2 mile away on 441 North after asking other guests. Seems to be popular with the locals. It took 30 minutes to check-in and my reservations had been made in advance. The check-in line was very long. The continental breakfast lacked class. They put a gallon of milk on ice. People were talking loudly in the hallway late at night. If you want to stay in class with amenities go somewhere else. I fault myself because "I got what I paid for." Cheaper is not always better.
