The hotel staff was rude. The keys had to be reprogramed each day. The rooms has a bed and a TV.. Nothing much else. The door had a large crack under the door so privacy was a huge issue. The hot tub doesn't work and the pool needed cleaning.Scary neighborhood.

I stayed at this hotel with my mother, two 11 year olds, and it's pet Friendly Too! We stayed there because of our weekend trip to "Busch Gardens, which was excellant." we enjoyed the indoor pool, outdoor pool, jacuzzi, all of the other Hotel extras, exspecially the gift shop that was very helpful, I forgot the kids toothbrushes and didn't want to drive to walmart or go across the road to the gas station to get a toothbrush but I didn't need to I was able to get it at the gift shop in the lobby. This was a excellant hotel, it had plenty of entertainment and the kids along with my mom enjoyed the continental Breakfast, pool and relaxation of a vacation. I was there during one of there most busiest times, but all of the people were very friendly and even envited our family to join their families to help us enjoy our stay in Tampa, the hotel was clean, but I thought that the beds were a little small it would have been nice to have queen beds instead of double, but all in all, this was a very nice hotel and we're looking forward to staying again! No matter the cost, I didn't see any BUGS, Either!! And the Staff was very helpful and curtious, we got into Tampa late and needed directions to the hotel, they told us how to get there with no problem, once we arrived they also told us were to find something to eat since it was 1200 and all of the restaurants were closed all except Denny's, again I say we had a great stay for the three nights that were there!! I Loved The Fact That The Rooms Are Beautiful And The Woman At The Front Desk Was So Nice I Couldnt believe How Nice She Was

35 minutes to check in. Housekeeping took dirty towels but didn't leave clean ones. TV had no sound, had to be replaced. Toilet seat bolts were broken so the seat kept sliding around. Tub faucet would not shut off. Shower would randomly shoot out very hot water. Noise was terrible on both sides of the hotel, had to call after midnight to have security come around. Indoor pool & whirlpool were shut down for remodeling. Outside pool had pool light ripped out of water and floating in water - with electrical cable. Maintenance was supposed to "check" it but they never showed up. We all ended up with bug bites which we joked were bed bugs, but now that I see the other reviews, maybe it was.

This hotel has a SEVERE bed bug problem!! They are certainly aware of the problem but are still booking people in rooms. It is absoultely DISGUSTING! Whatever you do- don't stay here!

When arriving the outdoor pool and jacuzi were not in working order, the hotel is under construction and there was a lot of mess there. The cleaning crew did not do a very good job I had to ask for coffee one day and they never left enough towels. The hotel offered guest laundry service but did not have any laundry soap machine available so it was pretty useless because not everyone carries laundry supplies and you had to cross a very busy street to buy any.

the hotel didnt look like the pictures on the yahoo site. hot tubs were broken and the entire facility was under construction. the photos made the hotel look like it was a newer building yet it was a poorly renovated building from the '70. there are no elevators in the hotel not to mention the hotel is located in a bad part of tampa. the breafast buffet that they claim is free only included fruit and waffles you make yourself if you wanted anything else it was $6 per person. for $90 a night i was extreemly angery i would have easily paid the extra $20 per night to stay at another hotel!

I did not like this hotel one bit..The sheets smelled horrible..And the room smelled like humidity.. The vending machines where all broken. The water in the shower was cold..And the best thing of all is that they charged us twice.. I called them and they kept on putting me to the managers voicemail.. When they finally called me they gave me an attitude..And the lady told us that the money was refunded well IT WASNT..I would never stay in this hotel again..

Me and my new wife decided to take oue honnymoone in tampa great idea.WRONG the comfort inn is the worst hotel ive stade in.The carpets were nasty and very unsanitary.Im saying this because im a carpet cleaner and i know what germs can linger in carpet.The toilet ran all night,the tub filled up from showering and did not drain for over 4 hrs.The tile in the bathroom was filthy and their was hair on and around the toilet (not ours).The tv had bad reception.We had dinner in the restaront,I had to go to the front desk to see if anyone was working,or if it was closed she said just wate someone will come along 15 min later,the food was not eatable.The busboy had to get the only watris their to give us our check she was found out by the pool.The next morning breakfast (joke)4.95 salty nasty .We went to Busch Gardens came back later on that night trash still in trash can, beds not maid or changed dirty towls were in the corner still ,clean towels were on sink.The pool was over crowed by rud cuest THE hot tub cold very dirty VERY UNHELTHY ONE person the driver to Busch Gardens was very nice and helpful.I can go on and on and on THE BARNES
