This location is also 18 miles from Space Coast Stadium, 24 miles from Port Canaveral, 28 miles from the Kennedy Space Center, and 70 miles from Walt Disney World. We Will Go Here Again!

I liked this place. The service was great! The staff was very friendly. The location was good. This hotel is right on the beach. The pool was outdoor, but it really was heated, and was warm (at the end of December). The views were great! The hotel was wonderful, especially for the price. It was very clean, and they also allowed our dog to stay too. It was a great hotel. We hope to visit again in the Spring 2008.

What a deal!

We were so surprised to stumble across this hotel in the sparsely visited (compared to other coastal Florida locales) Indiatlantic/Melbourne area. This hotel was formerly a Quality Inn & Suites, but after a hurricane, DoubleTree came in and completely renovated it. The rooms are fantastic with a pocket door to separate the bedroom from the living room and everyone has a direct view of the ocean. On top of that, we only paid about $130/nt, almost half of a standard room at the Marriott up the street. My only observation is to get more help on the front desk. Checking in took about 30 minutes because the clerk was acting as an operator, concierge, and front desk clerk all at the same time. Highly, highly recommend!

Beautiful but not run well.

Okay, it all started the first full day. I have never in all my life had to beg for maid service. Yes, we got it but had to literally beg for it and didn't get any until after 6pm all the five nights we were there. I even left a nice tip for one maid and it was never picked up off the bed that was not made. That day only towels were delivered. Everyday was a fiasco. We will go back hoping this was just a fluke. Beautiful rooms all on the beach and comfy. The beach guy was super accomodating, plan to pay for the beach chairs because you'll never get one at the small pool unless you are up at 6am to reserve yours with a towel or something. I've been waiting for a survey from Hilton but I guess they know who the complainer was.

My Best Stay in Florida
