Awful place.

The bathroom is dirty and the water in the shower takes a long time to go down the drain thing. When you enter the room it takes a long time to get used to the filthy smell. and the tv is just horrble and tiny and the screen messes up. And THE worst part of all is the Wi-Fi is just slow and horrible. ONly good thing is the beach view. And thats pretty much it. It looks good online and outside but inside is just horrible. Never coming back.

This hotel is just awful I went down there for my spring break and the people who worked there were just rude it took longer to get in the hotel then I expect it would take. The location was ok but the room was dirty I will not be going back to that place.

A LOT OF CHANGES

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO OCEAN TOWERS FOR THE PAST 15 YEARS AND I NOTICED THIS YEAR THAT THEY PAINTED THE EXTERIOR, THEY ARE REPLACING THE OUTDATED TV'S FOR PLASMAS. THEY'VE CHANGED A LOT OF THE JACUZZI'S AND ARE NOW MARBLE WITH DETACHABLE SHOWER HEADS, THEY HAVE REMOVED CARPETS FROM VARIOUS ROOMS AND REPLACED IT WITH WONDERFUL TILE, REMODELED THE PARKING LOT SO THERE ARE NO LONGER DITCHES AND POTHOLES. THERE ARE CEILING FANS IN MOST OF THE UNITS NOW.THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF HAS IMPROVED WITH THE YEARS. AND I ENJOY MY STAY EVERYTIME. GIVE IT A CHANCE! A WONDERFUL VIEW FROM EVERY UNIT AT A GREAT PRICE!IVE NOTICED THAT THE FOOD ACTIVITIES HAVE BEEN CANCELED BUT I FOUND OUT IT WAS BECAUSE OTHER GUESTS DONT WANT TO PAY.AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST THE HOTTUB HAS BEEN MOVED CONVINIENTLY DOWNSTAIRS BY THE POOL AND REMODELED VERY NICE.

Beware! Questionable business ethics!

I noticed that their reviews here are less than desirable. Definatly not 5 star managment. They have no concern for the guest, just their own agenda. I book about 3 vacations there each year for other people, but I had no idea of the character and attitude of the management. I will probably go back, but I will be verry carefull in my dealings.

I will never, ever go to that place!!!!

On My way I call for the Location... I was lost! the Woman who answerd phone put me on hold twice! and When I called back a third time! 10min later she says please hold again I said ma'am no I cant , one question she paused and said " Hurry up" I said excuse me. Hung up. me and my friends stayed at the first place we ran into Water Crest.11/11/09 at 9:30am womans name is Rene. I hope her manager reads this!!!! It is the off season i'm sure they could of used our Business.

Bring Lysol!

Filty place...bathrooms, beds, just awful. Called to get the room cleaned up but it took over 2 hours for the service to arrive. I would not go back if it was 50 cents a night.

Smoke Filled - Non Smoking Room

We paid for 7 nights but checked out today one short of seven. We couldn't stand the cigarette smoke smell in our non-smoking room. We had trouble sleeping and will never return to this hotel. We asked for a different room when we checked in but was denied that choice. They came in and sprayed which lasted about one hour. It ruined our vacation.

Good location but run down

The only thing that speaks for this place is its location. The hotel is run down, dingy and smelly, in dire need of maintenance. We had wall paper peeling off the walls, stained carpets and upholstery, mold in the bathrooms, chipped and blackened mirrors. The pool area is awful and an eye sore. We encountered some very rude housekeeping staff. Luckily we had great weather and spent most of our time outside. The beach is beautiful; however, there is a huge drainage pipe coming out of the ground and emptying into the Gulf right in front of the hotel.

Loved it!

Everything was clean, comfortable,cozy. The view was excellent. I love being right on the beach instead of having to walk over dunes or around huge pools, etc. The only problem we had was on the 4th night, there was a storm with alot of wind. It blew the table over on the balcony and broke it. We reported it and no one ever replaced it. Its a good price compared to alot of the newer condos and close enough to amusements and shops for the teenagers to walk. I'll definitely go back. We were there the 2nd week in July 2007.

the view was georgeous. even though we just have have a one bedroom unit, we had plenty of room and the extra bathroom came in handy. You will have a wonderful time!!!!!
