Terrible customer service

My wife and kids spent the weekend of April 6th and had booked this hotel. They arrived and the spring breakers were pole-dancing by the playground. My wife spoke with Jon, the person at the desk, regarding her concerns that our children would be able to see this behavior and he assured her that we could get a full refund if we called at the end of the trip. We thanked him, booked another hotel that didn't have all the partying, and finished the vacation. When we got home, we called for the refund as he instructed us to do and he went back on his story, first stating that he didn't remember us and then stated that he wouldn't give the refund because we didn't call that same night. However, beforehand he had stated that we could call at the end of the trip and get a full refund. We felt deceived and lied to and are very dissapointed.
