La Quinta Inn Orlando Airport West, Orlando

We just stayed there for the first time and let me tell you everything was great. The room was spotless. They had so many things for breakfast and it was all fresh. Next door was a sports bar/restaurant and also had a McDonalds 2 doors down. Shuttle service to the airport is from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and the manager went out of his way for us. I asked if I could go over to the airport with my friend to help him and he said no problem and then on his next trip back he picked me up and took me back to the hotel. The entire staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We already scheduled another night there and will continue to use them. I cannot say one bad thing about this LaQuinta, it was a pleasure staying there. The manager said he was only transfered there 2 weeks ago, well..........he is doing one heck of a job!!!!! Thanks and we will see you soon.

Awful..I don't know what was more trashy, the locals that stay here or a couple of the desk clerks. Bad language behind the counter, breakfast area dirty half the things in this inn don't work, no ice, soda, washing machine..manager Nonchalant about it all. She was too busy smoking outside like a teenager with another desk clerk , they were discussing other employees. Like high school gossip. This hotel lets anyone stay here.never saw Business people here just people who look like they got out of prison. Stay away if you want to be safe!.

Just awful If I went on the manager would get fired, Dirty and nothing works and noone cares. Who hires these managers?

I was concerned when I read other reviews of this hotel before I stay in Orlando. We stayed twice (one night before our Disney cruise and one after) and all was OK. The second time we actually took advantage of the pool which was nice and relaxing. The "odd" smell that people report in their reviews comes from the ventilation (so just turn it off if you do not like the smell). As recommended by other reviews, go eat at the Fish on Fire (right beside the hotel). It does not look like much but the food and services are GREAT.

We have used this property for groups and meetings for a number of years and have always found the management easy to work with and able to accomodate all of our needs. We will use them again if the need arises.

this hotel wasn't terribly bad, it had a few "down sides" i could of done without. the property is starting to show wear and tear. the staff were very helpful and friendly. there was free shuttle from the airport to the hotel(vise versa).the breakfast was your basic coffee, juice, bagels,ceral,fruit etc. but served it's purpose. the pool was nice and clean. the wasn't much around there to do except there is a restaurant/bar next door called "fish on fire" that had live music on wknds. and the food was decent. my biggest complaint was definatley the SMELL of the room when we entered it. im not sure what it was, but is smelled like to much CLEANER!! LAY OFF of it and have them professionally cleaned and use cleaners with less toxic agents. we got use to the smell the following day(thank goodness lol). the tub in our room also needed scrubbed a little better. probally would not return to this hotel.

I was extremely happy with this hotel. The gentlemen who drove the airport shuttle were both very friendly. The hotel itself was affordable and in very nice condition. It was also very clean. Jan was working the desk when I checked in and when I checked out. She was extremely helpful and courteous. She exemplifies good customer service.

very bad and boring it has horrible service the pool was HOT and the location looks nice buts poor the cost should be 2.50 per night not 55

"Nonsmoking" room reeked of cigarettes;property unkempt & clearly had been used a personal urinal in different areas of the property;several individuals frequenting the hotel (not guests) watching female teenage guests at the pool. Felt unsafe there.

We were pleasantly surprised during our one night stay at this hotel. We had a 8 a.m. flight out the next morning. They are in the process of refurbishing all the rooms & our room was one of the newly done. Clean, spacious,comfortable beds,and NONE of the previously reported mold smells. The continentail breakfast was a nice feature when heading off to the airport. Used the shuttle to get to the airport so we could leave our car there & not pay any additional parking. On the morning of our flight we took the shuttle to the airport.Just before we were able to enter the airport there had been a bad accident with the car upside down. We thought we were going to miss our plane but the shuttle driver knew just what to do he knew how to use an alternate route to the airport & we made it with time to spare. I thank him & LaQuinta for their pleasant staff & nice hotal. Highly recommend to all travelers especially when using the airport. When we returned the shuttle driver that picked us up drove us right to our car & wouldn't accept a tip. Doesn't happen often in this day & age. Only problem is that the shuttle runs just on the hour && not after 11 p.m. at night. It would help if early morning runs could be scheduled on the half hour.
