Bad Service

The location and the rooms were very nice. Beautiful beach, lovely pool, nice patios. The rooms were nicely decorated and appointments in the rooms (linens, curtains, towels, showers, etc) great.
HOWEVER, the service was lousy. My family and I had to obtain the luggage cart ourselves, load it, and take our luggage to our rooms because there was no one to help us. The service in the restuarant was LOUSY to the point that our lunchtime meal where we were celebrating my mother's birthday and parent's 50th wedding anniversary was a disaster. We even think the cake we had ordered from the hotel may have come from the local grocery store since the leftovers were provided to us in a "Publix" cake box. The final insult was that we were overcharged for the rooms on our bill.
