Would wait until renovations are done

We stayed here in Nov. 07. Our experience was OK, but I am glad that we did not pay more than $100/night on Priceline. I think it is more of a business/convention center hotel than for vacationers. The room amenities seemed shabby and worn out for a Hyatt, and there were very dusty areas in our room, spots on the wall, safe had fallen off the wall attachment. Half of the hotel rooms are currently under renovation.
Staff was very helpful and responsive to our requests, but I would rather not have had to ask them to fix the musty smell and dusty vents in the room in the first place. Location downtown is convenient to some things, but there is nothing pretty about the immediate surroundings, esp. with the construction next door. It was nice having Enterprise car rental and self service parking available for $12.25/night, though the walk to the parking garage is kind of sketchy when deserted at night. There is a walkway to an office building next door that has a Starbucks and Au Bon Pain, as well as Metromover stop.
I think this hotel will be a lot nicer whenever they finish their renovations.
