Tampa East Plaza Hotel- Sabal, Tampa

Nice room, tastefully decorated, and very clean. Also, very quite for May! We had an excellent steak dinner in the hotel resturant with a nice wine selection.

The first thing that stands out in my mind is the staff. The staff there at the Crowne Plaza were helpful and very curtious. The first thing that caughts the eye, is there beauitful waterfall that greets you in the main lobby. Although it is a little noise, it is also calming. The restaurant there in the hotel serves a variety of great food. The hotel also offers several small conference rooms and one large ballroom. They even have a small store right in the main lobby and small quite spaces, where you can work on the computer in peace. The price of the sleeping and meeting rooms were good as well. And the Lounge on the fifth room is really nice. A must see. Some of the things, that I wasn't crazy about, were - in my suite, the didn't work and I had trouble with something else, but I can't recall it at the moment. Also the hotel seemed cleanier last year when I stayed there. Finally, the staff (Sales Department) is a little slow getting back to you with answers to questions. Most of the time, it is hard to get the person that you want. You may have to keep calling them, in order to get somewhere.
