Holiday Inn Madeira Beach, Madeira Beach

Our room was facing the beautiful gulf of Mexico. White sandy beach that wasn't too crowded. Shopping and eateries were within walking distance. The pier was also not far away to go walking and sighseeing. We liked being able to walk to the miniature golf area. Our room was clean and accomodating. Staff was very friendly.

Ok, for those that don't know, this location was closed and torn down about a year and a half ago. The local developers decided it was in their best interest to develop more fun condos instead of having a boring old hotel for tourists. Why this is even an option online is beyond me. Oh, by the way, the Holiday Inn on Treasure Island just south of Madeira Beach has been closed almost as long for the same fun condos. Just in case you were wondering. Try the HI on Indian Rocks Beach a few miles north, the are still in business...for now.
