Days Inn, Miami

Truly a life experence for a naive transplant who had no idea,,,,,,and that was 1980!!! Bars on the candy machines. My father propositioned by a lady of the evening. Car broken into. If that place was still open, I would visit for the fun of it..(Wont sleep with roaches) They could charge admission and I would gladly pay to see it again.

If you want to do Miami on the REAL CHEAP, this is the place for you. Make sure you bring your own shampoo and washcloth. Perhaps bring some roach spray as well. There is a 5 star, gourmet Checker's Burger across the street that is convenient. Though this place is a dump, it has great security and will be a story you and your friends can tell forever

City Inn Hotel is the worst hotel, not just in Miami, but in the entire state. The hotel is very dirty, and the rooms are very unclean. The staff is mean and cold and the old white guy who works at the front desk is a nasty racist person. The hotel has very old furniture that are scratched up and the tv in the room is old with few useless channels. The hotel does not allow visitors, so if you plan on having visitors while staying in Miami, forget this dirty cheap hotel. The building is in very bad condition and it badly needs painting internally. The carpets are very dirty and nothing is provided in the rooms except two thin dirty towels and a thin film of soap. You canot take off your shos on the carpets because it would be like standing on dirt. I cannot imagine how the City of Miami allows such a hotel to operate. Talk about hospitality.. there is none.. this hotel should be closed down!

I do not live in Florida and was looking for a hotel near a property I have a meeting at. When I looked up this hotel and clicked on the link to the website I was brought to the Days Inn website but could not find the location. When I called the phone number to make the reservation the man who answered the phone was extremely rude! Don't get mad at me, the person willing to spend money on your establishment, if you're hotel is linked to a Days Inn website! Get another job if you're that unhappy, don't take it out on me.

I first got to miami and needed a cheap place to stay. The sign says 39.00 and up. I was pleased to see that it really was 39.00. I opened my door and huge roaches were all over the place. But on the good side if your looking for crack or a few hookers (I'm not kidding at all) then you will see that all over the place. The worst part was waking up to scratching noises. I saw my chips bag moving and there were two mice just looking at me. Somebody has to be paying the dept of health off for them not to close this place down.
