I won't go back. Not people or pet friendly.

Where do I begin...Their attempt to refurbish this place was weak. Ok so the outside was recently painted but the rooms needed more attention. The rug was in reasonably good condition but the walls were dirty; Bed linens and pillows were old. My biggest complaint though was with the hotel staff. We returned to our room the 1st day to find it had not been cleaned and when I called to inform them I was told by someone (in an very unfriendly tone of voice who didn't want to talk with me over the phone but wanted me to go to the front desk!) that it was because we had left our dog alone in the room (mind you she's a sweet little dog who was locked in a dog kennel). I was told if we had a problem with the 'pet' policy (which I let him know was never relayed to us) that we could leave and they would refund us for one night (our reservation was for two nights). Our dog is sweet very low-key and quiet so I couldn't believe it when he made that statement. I chose this hotel because they said they accepted pets. They were very much aware of our dog at the time I made the reservation and I paid a fee upfront for her to stay. Also, on the morning of checkout, we took our dog with us to have an early breakfast and upon our return around 9am to get our luggage and check-out we found we had been 'locked' out. We've stayed at other hotels that accepted pets and never have I had a problem leaving her alone in her kennel. Unbelievable!!
