Dolphin Beach Club, Daytona Beach Shores

This place was great, the view from our room was outstanding, Having all the ammenities if home was great as well, next year i will be ready, the pool was great as well as the staff, the patio on our room was great at night to sit out on a enjoy a cold beverage, the beach is a hop away. can't wait to go back next year.

Have been an owner for 5 yrs. and have been going there since I was 5. What a great family spot. staff is great, room is perfect many updates over the yrs. ocean front rooms are the best. pool area is great. lots to do close by. highly recomended.

I spent a week in this place and that was because it was free. This place was the most horrible place that I have ever seen! They need to burn it down and start over. The mattress feels like rocks and the bathroom is aweful. This is not a place for to vacation at all. Save your money!!! DON'T GO! Trust me you will never ever return again!!! The people who said it was a great place must have been paid actors because there is no way anyone in their right mind would even consider going back to this place. Renovation my ass!!! BURN IT DOWN!!!!

My husband and I stayed in one of the studios that are face on to the ocean. My sister and her family stayed in the one bedroom. We all loved our stay. The one bedrooms do not have a view of the ocean, but they are extremely spacious. The pool area is very nice and has lots of room for such a small facility. I have stayed at a lot of Bluegreen resorts as an owner, but I think this one is now my favorite. They had just replaced all of the furniture, mattresses and carpet. They are still in the process of updating the TVs to flat panels and some of the bathrooms. If you are going to the beach to party, this is NOT the place for you. If you want to have a relaxing, quiet family vacation, then I totally recommend staying at the Dolphin.

This place is just the greatest. This is our 2nd year staying for 2 weeks during speed week. The staff is just the friendliest, and go out the of way to make you stay wonderful. The veiw of the ocean is like something from a movie. A lot of great places to eat within a few miles. They are updating the rooms with new beds while their, new A/C units came in the day before we left. New sleeper sofa and chair to be coming in any day. Also replacing TVs with flat screens. Dolphin Beach Club is just the friendlist bunch of people and can' t wait to go back next Feb.

I love the dolphin!!!The employees are very nice and helpful,I have never seen one bug in one of those rooms(unless we prop the door open)because every weekend the rooms are sprayed for bugs.The pool is really big and the hot tub is always hot.I also love being able to go into the clubhouse.But my favorite part is the free dough nuts I believe they have them every Wednesday morning.I don't see how anyone couldn't love this place.One thing I almost forgot,if you have a timeshare there you can go back when ever you want to and swim all day.

This is the worst place we have ever stayed. The rooms were dirty and infested with mosquitos. The room were for 4 people but did not have sufficient seating for 4, the air conditioning unit was old, dirty and I suspect not safe.

I have friends that have owned a room there for 24 years .. It just happen to be my birthday weekend and they let me invite a few friends to join in .. The rooms were GREAT , the tempeture was wonderful .. I definitely have no probelms or issues with this place .. My boy friend and I have already discussed that we would buy a place there when we can ! We had sooo much fun , I actually started cryin when we left !

I have been an owner for about 15+ years and I truly can't complain. I have seen the changes they have made over the years. Like other people have said furniture isn't the best (pull out couch is has alway been uncomfortable to sleep on) but what can you expect when you have everything at your fingertips. Staff is excellent, Ray has always been accommodating to your needs. Joyce is missed. The new staff is just as helpful. Think about it, for the yearly cost of maintenance which is around $350 give or take a little, where else can you go for a week and stay at the beach and have a clean pool too. BBQ at your disposal, gorgeous sunrise and you always have the ocean at your back door. I have never had a problem with mold nor have I seen the grounds look bad. I can't think of a better place to be for the price. Become an owner. It's worth the investment. If you don't like it there you can always do an exchange.

Enjoyed the place so much, I bought a few weeks 20 years ago. It isn't advertised as a 5 star hotel, so you shouldn't expect a place like that. Located right on the beach, in the middle of all of the Daytona Beach action. Excellent, friendly staff is always willing to help you or repair something that needs fixing. All rules and hotel policies and hours are in every room, which you are told to read when you get there, so anyone complaining the office closes too early didn't listen to the recommendations.
