Comfort Inn and Suites Cocoa Beach, Cocoa Beach

Our family of five unfortunately stayed overnight at this motel (not hotel) the day before our cruise was to leave. Upon arrival, the clerk at the front desk had a decent attitude however once we got to what was supposed to be a suite, the room had an awful stench to it of mildew and smoke (we booked non-smoking). The carpet had not been vacuumed or cleaned in decades and the pillows had little white bugs on them. We immediately went back to the front desk and asked for a clean suite. The next room smelled a little better but still was not up to par. The pool area was fairly clean but the constant sight of prostitutes at night was also a turn off. We are from Maryland and will be back in this area for another cruise next year but will NOT be staying here..... I will also be doing my research first. This was a hard lesson learned from not researching first.

FAST friendly check in, room looked fresh painted,got free upgrade to efficiency the park and cruise deal was best rate.

Great location,nice but not spectacular room. No free breakfast. Do not take coupons they have in three different flyers. Not oceanfront but charge as it is. Have a nice bar and pool area but nothing out of he ordinary.

The place was very clean!! The staff was polite and everyone was very friendly. The room wasn't exactly what we had expected from the picture but was big enough for the 4 of us and it had a very large bathroom. The shower was hot and had ample water pressure. Over all I thought it was a worthy investment, close to the beach and next door to a Starbucks. I was in heaven. There was a grocery store, 2 fast food restaurants and countless other businesses within walking distance. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I stayed here for one night prior to sailing for our cruise. We got a decent deal using hotwire but with hotwire you never know what to expect so upon arrival to our room we were pleasently surprised! We had a very modern room with a kitchen area. We had a safe in our room, which you don't see very often and it was just an overall great place to stay. Also, the offer parking for people who are going on cruises for a rate muchless than one would pay at the pier. Only problem I noticed were there were little bugs on the floor in the bathroom, but that was the only place I saw anything. Our room was more than clean. Also, we had a room that adjoned our room and unlike most places where there is two doors between rooms this one only had one and at 2am our neighbors came in from a long night of drinking and were dropping the F bomb left and right. We felt like they were actually in our room that's how loud it was...we could hear them word for word..entire conversation. My husband called down to the front desk and they took care of the situation. I've read all the reviews on here about it not being clean and all that but I would recommend this place to ANYONE! It was so great. Obviously they must have some rooms that are a little outdated so ask for one that isn't and I'm sure you'll be happy!

I was originally going to pan this hotel, but they moved me and it made a big difference. The first room was a 'standard' room and was dark, truly dank, smelled of cigarettes, and just felt 3rd rate. It also did not have a fridge I needed. After 3 hrs of trying to accept it, I eventually had to go ask for another room. They obliged and got me into an 'efficiency' room, which had no smell, looked renovated, and had a fridge, microwave, stovetop, and sink as well as tile instead of carpet near this kitchenette area (which really makes sense with all the possible stinkable spillables: milk, etc.). These in combination made it satisfactory for a 5 night stay, though other weaknesses included a noisy A/C unit, low-flow in the bathroom faucet (shower was fine), a broken room safe, significant neighbor noise via the adjacent-room door, and a joke of a complimentary breakfast area (when offered). Still, staff was nice and helpful, and location is 200 yrds from sand and ocean, but borderline even for my tolerant standards. P.S: I never have written these hotel reviews, but have appreciated the many provided and now returning the favor.

Staff very friendly at check-in always so helpful with all our needs, right there if any problems come up just would not think of staying any other place when we come down from NY

Upon entering our room we noticed the lack of cleanliness. Immediately went out and bought Lysol. Couldn't find an empty room anywhere else. Besides the bugs in the bathroom we were bitten overnight by bedbugs. Hotel said it was impossible but they lied and covered up. We know where we slept and the Comfort Inn is responsible for bedbug bites. Worst hotel experience in our lives.

Here is an excerpt of the complaint we sent to the general Manager: ...when we came in the lobby, the desk clerk hardly acknowledged us, as she carried on a conversation with staff at the desk (as I recall, they were sharing a somewhat colourful joke). When she finally acknowledged us, she simply stated, "Yes?" After more interruptions with unrelated conversations and joking around with her co-workers, she finally said, "you are too early, you cannot check-in until 4pm and will have to wait." ...my wife and I got to further experience the desk clerk and other staff members making flatulence noises while loudly laughing. After about 45 minutes of this show, the clerk finally said we could check-in. However, she said she was "fixing to get out of here" and someone else would have to check us in... ...The room had been obviously smoked-in (we reserved a non-smoking room) and had not been properly cleaned (used soap was still in the shower, the shower stall had a notable amount of hair in it, the bathroom floor was wet and there was a wet washcloth under the sink). For a few dollars more, stay next door at the Four - Points.

The hotel was convienent to all of the attractions. The room was spacious, but it needed a thorough cleaning. Housekeeping didn't come for two days, even after i went ot the front desk and alerted them. Mold could be seen through the caulking in the tub. The place needs to be refurbished. The bed was so hard that I went to Walmart and bought a mattress pad.
