Worst Hotel I've Ever Stayed At
By Reagan Russell, 11/10/09
Terrible. I made a reservation and had to cancel that date, but over a month later the deposit charge was still on my account. We ended up staying there for my brother's wedding and the stay was unpleasant to say the least. They have two elevators and one was out the entire weekend, making the wait times extremely long. You have to pay $10/day for parking (whether or not you will park an actual car), pool towels (whether or not you actually use the pool), and wireless internet. Being there for a family wedding, this meant that I had to pay $10/day for wireless internet, regardless of whether I wanted it. The charge is mandatory for each room. The shampoo container in our room was already open, but placed back in the bathroom for our use. The rooms are old and unattractive. The beds were uncomfortable. The AC did not blow cold in our room. In my brother's room, it did blow cold, but so wet that even their packed clothes had a damp feeling when they were put on. I asked the front desk twice to fix it, but to no avail. The balcony door in my room and in my father's suite was corroded shut, so we both had to request maintenance just to access our balconies. The fire alarm interrupted breakfast on Saturday morning and we were forced to evacuate, leaving our just served breakfasts to be nibbled upon by birds in the outdoor dining room at Watercolors. On Sunday morning there was a water main break, causing the entire hotel to be without water. I would never return and never recommend this hotel.

Let me spare you
By RuthD, 7/11/05
More than half of the hotel's intracoastal views are blocked by a high condominium, and more than half of the hotel's ocean views are blocked by a large beach club. There is a noisy bridge adjacent to the hotel. Everything needs updating and a good cleaning. They didn't park my car where I asked, the flowers were wilted, there was one towel in the bathroom, light bulbs not replaced, toilet needed adjustment, poor water pressure, bed uncomfortable, no mini bars, outdated Radisson materials publishing the wrong things (not a Radisson for over 2 months at this writing), gift shop closed during published opened hours, smoking allowed in non smoking rooms, not enough outlets in the room to run the lights, clocks, and anything you might bring... in short - what is right about it? Well - it is technically near the beach (across the street) in Boca Raton - (driving distance to a lot of shopping and dining) - And, the ice machines worked and they distributed current newspapers. If you are used to seedy roadside inns, then, you might feel this is a step up. For the prices - even the bargain rates - wow - they should be paying us! In the past, I have eaten in the restaurants and they were good, but this trip I just ordered room service, which was marginal. Some people in the elevator looked happy. Maybe other rooms were not as bad.

great hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/6/04
very nice hotel. location was exellent. biggest problem are the 2 (only two!!) elevators. one was out of service for 2 or 3 days. The hotel, rooms, service, bar, and restaurants in the hotel are also great! all in all a two thumbs up.
