Great hotel

This was my second time staying at this hotel. Very close to DC & Pentagon City mall. My only complaint is the steep $16 parking charge. No other complaints. The front desk staff was very friendly.

Met all my expectations

The key value to this hotel is its location. You are a few blocks from the Metro and a dozen good dining choices. Right next to it is a rental car, pharmacy, and McDonalds. The room had a nice view and was set up comfortably with good beds. The shower was tall enough for a 7 footer and the service was good. The on-site diner had great food, but you did have to wait quite awhile for it. All-in-all, it met the needs of a short-term traveller very well.

Great Service JUST outside of DC

We held a meeting here, looking for a reasonable location near to the airport. We would have found something in DC, but it was "police week" or some such thing. Anyway, the service was incredible in that every mistake was made up for ten-fold. They fell all over themselves with apologies and made you feel like royalty. The rooms were nice, and for not being in DC, it was pretty well located...within walking distance of great little cafes and restaurants. Also, if you want a little exercise...there's not a gym (though there is a great outdoor pool)...but the nearby neighborhood is full of hills with gorgeous old homes and views of the capital. This would be a great hotel if you had business at the Pentagon as it is within walking distance.

Very Nice

I stay in Arlington a lot and this hotel didn't disappoint. With all the high class hotels in the area they had to compete and the renovations were superb. The price was excellent, and it's just a short drive to DC or a 10 minute Metro ride. It's right around the corner from Pentagon City Mall. There is a car rental place right next door. And a shopping mall, movie theatre and many restaurants down the street. The manager's and staff were attentive. I didn't have any problems and the rooms were very clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Romantic Room

I loved the way the room was set up. It was like they read my mind. It was very romantic. Just perfect for me and my love. I would recommend this hotel especially the king size bed room.

Sparkling Stay at Crystal City

I was very pleased with the whole experience. All my many questions were cheerfully answered. The place was immaculate, the staff helpful, the food superb! The bed and pillows were very comfortable! The ease of travel was complimented by the shuttle to and from the airport. Thank you!

Great Hotel!

We got a great deal on a room here. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hallways aren't exactly wonderful but the room was very nice. The hotel is in a great location. It's not far from a metrorail station. The have a van that will take you there and pick you back up for free. The hotel's restaurant was awesome. They have great food and it's not badly priced. They'll bring it right up to your room or you can eat in downstairs. In all this was a great hotel and we will definitely stay there again.

Great bargain

This was a great deal for the price. The location is great, and there is a free shuttle to the Metro which is very convenient. You did have to call for the shuttle from the Metro to the hotel, and had to wait a bit for it to arrive. The restaurant was undergoing renovations at the time, which was inconvenient, but not a big deal. With free parking and free internet, you can't beat the price. The internet was down a couple times, but fixed quickly. Crystal City is a very nice location, with lots of shops. A taxi downtown is about $15 with tip.

It was wonderful!!!

We just returned from a week at this hotel. From the minute we walked in till we were driven to the airport we couln't have been treated better. The front desk was friendly, the rooms were comforable and clean. The hotel dinner staff and Pub were extra friendly. We enjoyed the schuttle drivers, they were clean friendly and effient. We will diffently stay there again. I have stayed at other hotles in the crystal City area. And none compare to the friendly treatment we recieved from the staff at Holiday Inn National,Arlington, Va. It was close to all the 23rd street eateries and the schuttle took us to the metro each time we needed to go. A-number 1. Keep up the good work. We'll be back
